No, not two separate issues, just two different ideas about how to solve the same issue! What, pray tell, has Apple’s removing the volume limit to do with “just don’t use cheap headphones”? Two separate issues.

You think it’s ok to test out on a daily driver? I did that last year with 13 and had no issues...at least on my iPhone.Pubic beta is out
Most of the new features, such as widgets, are still broken. What is more, many banking apps don’t work. Depends on what your usage is and what needs you have. You think it’s ok to test out on a daily driver? I did that last year with 13 and had no issues...at least on my iPhone.
Anybody else seeing constant (every 5-10 mins) AirPods dropouts? I keep having to re-pair them in the BT menu
Oh well if widgets are broken then I won’t be installing. Or I’ll wait to see what others who are braver than I experience. Most of the new features, such as widgets, are still broken. What is more, many banking apps don’t work. Depends on what your usage is and what needs you have.

There has been at least one work around posted (adding gaming apps to your phone and then deleting them). But this seems to be a temporary fix. Best bet is to wait it out and file feedback.

Except the poster a few posts above (and one several days ago) who are reporting "out of space" errors. This is an issue. There's usually some amount of "other" due to logs, etc... but this seems to be some sort of memory management error, or worse, something that is spinning off a lot of data.
Wow I’m surprised Apple would release a public beta if so many things are broken. Aren’t public betas supposed to be stable for the most part?I used Beta 1 on my daily and had no real issue. Then tried and Removed beta 2 and went back to 13 because too many things broke between 1 and 2.
public beta is still a betaWow I’m surprised Apple would release a public beta if so many things are broken. Aren’t public betas supposed to be stable for the most part?
what are you even talking about? Beta is Beta man!Wow I’m surprised Apple would release a public beta if so many things are broken. Aren’t public betas supposed to be stable for the most part?
Closest thing I've had in DB to a major issue was the Cellular not working once, but a restart cleared it, and it hasn't returned. Otherwise it's weird widget stuff and the other, but the other hasn't stopped me from doing anything yet. Someone said they got a low space error, but didn't say if it actually stopped them from doing anything. Two things I had in DB1 cleared in 2 were the Smart Battery Case Internet Issue and that crash on Review Large Attachments.Wow I’m surprised Apple would release a public beta if so many things are broken. Beta and Stable. Pure definition of an oxymoron
I get that it’s still a beta but I assumed they would wait on the public beta until it was more stable knowing that a lot more people are going to be installing the public beta. It's still a beta release, so not everything will be 100% working. Sometimes developers will have a public preview release that is largely feature complete and bug-free, but that is different from a beta release.
I went from 5gb to over 66gb, “other” us more than double my existing data. Could be a duplicate plus the download maybe. But I doubt it.I have zero proof of this, but I think the Other storage section is used for moving files around during an OS upgrade. I keep a hefty amount of downloaded music on my iPhone, and I've noticed the Other storage has been close to what my downloaded music space is using. I'm just trying to reach outside of the box here, but again, have no way to prove any of this.. You know how when you upgrade a Windows OS it'll put a Windows.OLD folder on your C: Drive?
huh?Wow! Just, wow. Did you even read or understood anything I wrote?
I did not mention audio equalisation anywhere in my post. I think we're basically on the same page regarding the cheap speakers in the iPhone and the AirPods. I even acknowledged that limiting the volume digitally isn't a good solution!
What I was trying to explain is that these cheap speakers might actually be the main cause of hearing loss. As these cheap speakers are only able to reproduce a very narrow frequency response, people are unable to judge how loud the sound they are listening to actually is.
When you are standing at a live concert, the sound near the sound booth is generally around 90db and that's pretty loud.
When people are talking to each other face to face they generally produce between 70 and 75db. But when people are talking to each other on the phone the sounds easily exceeds 90db without people actually noticing how loud it really is! In fact, even with the phone on the loudest setting people sometimes still have problems hearing each other clearly.
If you value your hearing, just don't use cheap headphones!
Bank of America and M&T Bank work with no issuesMost of the new features, such as widgets, are still broken. What is more, many banking apps don’t work. Depends on what your usage is and what needs you have.

Had a good backup of 13 ready and available and didn’t have readily available way to go back simply to B1.huh?
Why not go back to beta 1?
