Is anyone having issues with resetting network or forgetting WiFi access? I tried both and both iPhones seem to connect right back with no way of toggling private WiFi off too.

i had issues on Beta 1 with wifi & it forgetting my networks password. Seemed to sort out after a week.

On both my phones retting the networks in the settings doesn't seem to do anything... They're still there when the phone turns back on. Also unable take private address off. Even after forgetting the network and reconnecting.

I web lucky so far so good with iPhone of mine and Big Sur I got one issue which is MS edge won’t open under my profile but opens under bee user. To me both of these betas are awesome from APPLE

ProMax DB on AT&T
Had a few voicemails left by my power company about an outage.
When I view them, the voice to text worked great. However ... When I went to play them, if I attempted to skip forward in the actual voicemail, the phone app would crash.

If I let it play through without touching all was okay.

Brightness and volume sliders in landscape mode in control centre meant to be that long?

look terrible.

They are 2x1 in portrait mode and 3x1 in landscape mode - but there are only 3 rows of icons in landscape mode. I think it would look more strange if they were 2x1 with another icon below them. Either way, I'm not bothered by it.

Well I am only doing iPadOS for the beta test. My iPhone 11 max pro is too crucial to have important things like bank apps and the like not work. For iPados so far after 24 hours no crashes with all my apps i use on iPad (less apps than iPhone) seems smooth. Wanted to test scribbles especially on my iPad Pro Gen 3 and I like it. Wish they would have added the ability to work with application organization like the iPhone. Love the new translation feature of 14 on safari no need to use Google Chrome any longer when I hit a non English site. Played with the new caption feature of photos but sorta flaky/weird you have to edit the photo first says it is not editable without new copy. I have a large collection of images on Mac with metadata in the description (same as the new Caption field) but first and foremost its only gonna move from one to other if I use iCloud storage and my photos to large and I do not use more than free 5 GB for a few things so I guess wont use that feature. So overall smooth and except for new features I see little problems or issues for my day to day iPad use but suppose that is because my number of go to apps is small and I use less apps than iPhone.

Same. Installed the public beta on my iPad Pro but am not really sure where to proceed from there.

Noticed some of the apps like photos, files and mail have a new UI. Scribble is interesting. Safari feels faster. Haven’t really tried the widgets yet. At least my key apps all seem to be working.

Probably needs more third party app support. Feeling pretty confident about using it for work but otherwise, it also seems kinda overrated. What am I missing?

Just to throw in my two cents on this whole thing. Here's a few issues I've experienced, and reported:

1) Stack widget - one of the News items that pops up (Science) shows ------- for the text. It doesn't show the text.
2) iPhone 11 - I went outside when it was really bright and all the sudden my brightness control wouldn't change the backlight above 50%. Went inside, nothing. Eventually it resolved itself, but it was odd.

One I didn't report cause I can't reproduce it:
1) Adding widgets to the home screen caused a glitch where the Done button was still in the top right corner, but the + button wasn't. Attempting to add widgets by holding down on the home screen failed to work. Things seemed to resolve when I locked and unlocked. Attempted to reproduce, can't.

Where did „reset Ad ID? go? It’s no longer an option in privacy

Handoff to homepod stopped working. Disabling and enabling hasn’t helped. Wireless charge issue still present.

I don't understand anything anymore. Today, 4 iPhone restarts are already available. I don't know what's going on anymore. what is the cause. Yesterday, all day maybe I had 2 restarts? I will try to disable wifi today.

I’m not sure that unless you have diagnostic tools available that you can understand this. These things occur during betas. The best thing to do is file feedback with Apple so that they can comb through your diagnostic files and logs to find the issue.

I don’t know if this is new to n Beta 2, but in the heart rate page of Health there is now a section called “Heart rate: Sleep”. Tapping on it shows you a graph of your heart rate during your sleep, including you min and max. This makes the Sleep tracking of WatchOS 7 a whole lot more useful!

Now all i need is a Resting Heart Rate Variability and i can actually get rid of Autosleep.

Does iOS/iPadOS 14 seem really fast to anyone else, or is it just placebo? This beta 2 seems faster than iOS 13 to me.

Readiness always drives me nuts. I’m almost always in the red

Enjoying the iOs 14 PB had a few crashes but i can live with that. Love the new widgets especially the shortcuts widgets with folders.

Only problem I have is that the phone favourites widget has disappeared? I used to use this a lot so much easier to just go to the widgets and all my favourite phone numbers would be ready for me.

Is it just me or are they somewhere else?

Widget question
Liked the battery widget in the pre14 version and the new 14 version is to me way oversized on the Home screen.
Any way to get some of the old widgets on the old page? I don’t see the sense on a widget taking 1/4 of my screen to tell me the battery percentage for my phone / watch / other /other ...

All stock (Apple) widgets are only available in the new style. So you'll need a third-party app and then you can add the legacy widget to the widget page as usual.

Can you not hide apps from the App Library? I don’t need everyone to see the Grindr app as a „in your face“ icon when I hand the phone to someone 🙄
Actually, I just thought of something that could work. You can hide home screens, so put and apps you don’t want easily seen onto a Home Screen, then just leave it hidden until you need to use it. With App Library, as I said, people would really have to go find a specific app, but they could easily do that on iOS 13 by going into spotlight and typing or seeing in Siri Suggestions.

I hid all my home screens except 2 with widgets on them

If I downgrade back to 13.5.1 (I made a backup on my MacBook), will I lose photos I've taken or notes/messages from the past 2 weeks? I've been searching, but haven't found an answer. I have removed the beta profile, so I can just wait until 13.6 is released, but would prefer to roll back now if I won't lose those things.

Previously I toggled it off in Siri suggestions so it would never come up when searching for it :)
