oh boy.. glad I held off on installing on my iPhone. Currently installing on my iPad Pro.
Same thing for me. My iPhone has been running hot just on Safari and Apollo. It's been a couple of days since I installed it, so I think it's just the beta. My phone runs out of batter quicker as well, but that is to be expected I guess. My 11 Pro has been running hot the past couple days on DP2. Battery drain like crazy. Might try a restore from backup and see if that helps at all.
I just realise volume limit feature is removed from this beta.
WTF? Why? Apple wants to hurt everyone’s hearing in the process?

Never noticed that. That’s a shame, very easy for the volume to creep up as you get used to it.
I’m not sure if it’s a big of not. I have 2 finger tap on for VO on Back tap. Anytime I put my phone down now it turns on.
Only happens to me when idle since I see the passcode required when iPhone restarts when I pick it up. Hasn't happened when I was using it yet.Nope, but then they would only see it if they went over to App Library, so you could just hide it from your Home Screen. Where do you have it now? As it basically is the same, except on App Library, it only stands out if it’s the most commonly used app in that category in the App Library, otherwise it’s a small icon, or not even shown.

well, seeing as I don’t use An eSIM, it’s not that for me. I think it’s more down to memory, as out of all the times it has happened, has been when I join a meeting with video in MS Teams, it’s happened many other times with random things, but for now, that’s my best guess. Could it be that using eSIM/Dual SIMs uses a chunk of memory, which is why you see less by disabling it?
Ours did the opposite yesterday. It showed half an hour to somewhere, and after like fifteen minutes, I looked and it still showed half an hour.I noticed the other day using CarPlay on my way home, knowing I still had at least 20 min to go, but it was showing 0 min remaining on my trip. I noticed it was correct initially, but at some point around the 40 miles to go mark it changed to 20 min and then down to 10, then 8, then 2... then stayed on zero the rest of the way. Very weird I was driving with my daughter at the time and didn’t think to trigger the sysdiagnose log..

Yea only have the passcode required when restarts message sometimes when I pick the phone back up. And some widget weirdness still. But no crashes or resprings or restarts when using the phone.More resprings, but otherwise no.
Right AirPod Pro and AirPod do that, (B1 also).
Back tap is real sensitive at the moment, ended up turning the feature off until apple fix it.
Have you tried a hard reboot or removing the sim and reinstalling? I had this happen to me once out of the blue and it turned out to be a bad sim, another possibility although less likely probably.I am suddenly getting the "No SIM installed"/blanked-out cell icon on my 11 Pro Max, which is odd because I've been running iOS14 public beta for 4 days without any issues. It just seemed to happen out of nowhere. I've restarted once, but the issue persisted. Any advice on how to fix, or maybe you've come across other threads about this?
Even with Pokemon Go?Here's something. I had my phone jailbroken on 13.5 and a couple apps didn't like that so it threw the jailbreak detection. I updated to ios 14 using an IPSW and it was still saying it was jailbroken. Last night I restored as new and all my apps are behaving normally now. No more issues.
I've had this issue on and off. Sometimes closing the phone app and reopening helps. I also have TrueCaller on my phone so I can look up missed calls and see if they're legit or spam (usually spam)Filed feedback to reverse this, but I noticed that unknown callers no longer have their location tagged—on the incoming call screen and in Recents. This extra context is a big deal (to me) for out of state calls, medical calls, what have you. Otherwise, you may not recognize an area code and choose to screen the call.
Not a feature on my XS. What phone and/or watch is collecting that data?I don’t know if this is new to n Beta 2, but in the heart rate page of Health there is now a section called “Heart rate: Sleep”. Tapping on it shows you a graph of your heart rate during your sleep, including you min and max. This makes the Sleep tracking of WatchOS 7 a whole lot more useful!
Now all i need is a Resting Heart Rate Variability and i can actually get rid of Autosleep.
I did a hard restart and that seemed to fix it for now. Previously, I had just restarted normally a couple times.Same thing for me. My iPhone has been running hot just on Safari and Apollo. I avoided the Developer betas and did the Public beta (iPhone 11) and so far no real issues effecting the working of the iPhone. Widgets - primary their slowness in updating or occasionally just showing a black box - only real "issue" so far.I get that it’s still a beta but I assumed they would wait on the public beta until it was more stable knowing that a lot more people are going to be installing the public beta.
I hope Apple changes their primary weather data source to Dark Sky until the Weather Channel stops copying clipboard data. I imagine it’s easy to implement given they own them.

Also try resetting settings if you haven’t tried that already.
