Not to be ‘that guy’, but it’s a beta. And there are iOS, app and server side components to all of this. Not sure where the actual issue(s) lie, but I am not getting too worked up over a degree or two difference or a minute or even 10 lag. Just keep reporting the issues, and enjoy the ride on the beta train as best you can. (They warn you not to install the beta iOS on your non-test device, so, well ...)

Completely understand and I'm good with everything on my phone..It was more out of a curiosity ..I have only been doing betas since iOS 10 so I still consider myself a newbie..

Just installed the beta. I’m surprised that there’s no favorite contacts widget anymore. Any workarounds?

It seems that Apple hasn’t recreated all their old widgets. Or maybe they have, but haven’t put them in the beta and we will get them with GM.

Have to wait until release to see.

Its is so weird seeing all the messages saying this was fixed and then a few post later its broken for others .. (weather & clock as an example) My clock is fine but my weather is still off. So I wonder for those saying its working no issues how they installed the Beta, OTA or IPSW ??.. Did they wipe and do a install fresh on all betas (doubtful) ??
For me I always start with a clean iOS 13.6.1 (wipe and fresh install) then OTA all betas through there cycle .. any input would be welcomed ..
I don’t see a need to roll back fresh and install etc. Seems like that may cause issues because some setting you had may be in some other location and disabled or something so not really a comparable test with previous install. To answer you tho, I always close all apps then reboot. Then open settings and download/start the install. Almost always OTA. Don’t seem to have as many issues as I see reported here typically. Did that since iOS 5 days.

Curious to know who is running this beta as a daily driver and how is performance and battery life compared to iOS 13.7?

Been running it as a daily since Beta 5. The odd little bug here and there but not enough to make me want to downgrade.

B7 seems very decent.

I am on iPhoneXR and performance and battery are just as good as ever as far as I can tell. Even compared to 13.7.

Daily since B3 on my 11PM. No issue that makes me sorry I’m running it. Never had 13.7 to be able to compare.

Never had 13.7 on my device. Went from 13.6.something to the first dev beta of 14.

Performance and battery life have been great. As others have said, you'd hardly know it was a beta. I do have one minor bug with Messages where it sometimes doesn't realize all messages have been read (ie. an unread badge number persists on the home screen icon) until I kill Messages and go back in and tap on that conversation again. But that's a rare occurrence, and hardly worth any stress.

I had this same bug with 5 and 6 but have yet to see it on 7.

Anyone else seeing the GO button in maps in CarPlay blue? Last beta they made it a dull green, and now it’s blue.

Just set an alarm for tomorrow morning and the alarm icon doesn’t show up next to the battery percent in the upper right corner of Control Center...

Anyone seeing the alarm clock icon next to their battery indicator in CC?

Hello Guys,

I am from The Netherlands and I get the message: An update is required to use mobile data on this iPhone.

What to do?

Had no issues yesterday, but just experienced the typing lag bug twice. Fun.

I see it. iPhone XR. Sleep wake alarm (not active for tomorrow) but still have it. Also other alarms but all are off and STILL have it showing. Guess because I have a sleep schedule set for weekdays.
