Pokémon GO still crashes at launch 😑

smh at people that told me it would just start working on the GM 🙄

They might have meant that either it will start working on its own on Apple's account or when the game developers update the app to fix what broke.

Didn't think about that and don't see why that wouldn't work. I guess a restore is just a placebo peace of mind.

It most certainly is not a placebo. A full restore makes for a noticeably nimbler UI experience. However, it does not matter that much if you are careful with what is on your phone and there is enough free space on the device. I used to restore one or two times a year, and between iOS 13 and iOS 14, I think I could have done without a full restore. I now do that only when I want to set things up from scratch if something is not feeling right even after resetting settings and hard reboots and network reset, etc. Next full restore for me would probably be with iOS 15 beta 1 if something does not warrant it before that. I restored iOS 14 beta 1 in full, and since been using IPSWs to update.

Nothing has changed for me compared to b8. Shortcuts widget bug not fixed, still takes time to load the actual shortcuts’ buttons every time I swipe through home pages...

**Now sorted*** Removed the download and the beta profile, re-enrolled the device and download now installs.

After I download the update I get an error “Unable to install update. An error occurred installing iOS 14. Retry/Remind later”

Retrying doesn’t working neither does removing the download.

any suggestions?

I went from iOS 12 to 13 to 14 and will go 15 via ota but I also have 256GB phone and the apps I installed 3 years ago are the same apps I use today! I don’t install and reinstall the OS ever! And I barely have any issues at all! I use 68GB of data and have been for years!

For some reason when using my AirPods Pro I need to crank the volume quite a bit higher than on iOS 13. Other than that smooth sailing thus far.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing on AirPods?

My Mac OS also goes from beta to beta since 2016 with out format just update on top of update and it’s always nice and smooth... obv beta bugs here and there but always fixed with GM release

So look, this definitely isn’t the same binary as beta 8. They fixed the bug with incorrect icon and widget sizes!
I know it’s not the same release it’s what I said earlier to everyone but it’s the same build number so must be the same!

there are fixes for sure!

any idea if clock widgets have been fixed?

It is available for public beta testers. I am public beta and currently installing the 4.79 GB GM version.

It looks like the download icon bug got fixed in Apple Music (I also appreciated them using a Big Wild song in the keynote!)

I noticed that as well.... i did go in to settings -> sounds & haptics, and noticed that in the Reduce Loud Sounds section if i turned that on, and cranked up the limit like in my screen shots it was louder for me at that point again...

hope you get the same results.
