Gotta love a new public release with a bunch of broken widgets. Weather is off, Clock is waaaaay off, Apple Music doesn’t update and Reminders sometimes doesn’t even load at all.

Huh. Only one of these I see is Music not updating--definitely seems stuck. No problem with Weather, I have 4 clocks shown and the second hands are perfectly synced to the clock app and minute roll-over in status bar. I did get Reminders not to launch once, but can't duplicate it.

So I know its the same build number but something changed.. My weather widget and app sync same temp not a degree off anymore , clock widget keeping time so far, Alarm works again ..!! Sh*t finally works.. its only been about a hour for me but crossing my fingers its fixed ....

I noticed that as well.... i did go in to settings -> sounds & haptics, and noticed that in the Reduce Loud Sounds section if i turned that on, and cranked up the limit like in my screen shots it was louder for me at that point again...

hope you get the same results.

A restart of the phone seemed to do the trick for me, so all is well.

smh at people that told me it would just start working on the GM 🙄

I know that anytime I answered thisquestion, I said it needed Niantic to fix it, as it was the same issue with COD Mobile and other apps that fixed it a while back. Niantic are crap at updating, every year.

Installing now 😊 then deleting profile, been a fun beta to test out with you guys.

Nothing has changed for me compared to b8. Shortcuts widget bug not fixed, still takes time to load the actual shortcuts’ buttons every time I swipe through home pages...

Same build as B8. Some differences might happen whilst installing the update, as it’s a full one, not a delta, plus all the logging stuff is removed.

One thing about this quick public release is that there won’t be any 3rd party widgets using the new style on launch, since Xcode GM only came out a couple hours ago.

I don't think there is one anymore. Tried looking for one earlier this week and they seem to all be OTA only.

Sucks as I'm going to be on top of a mountain next week and will need to upgrade a family members device ... guess I'll have to drive 45 min to their library for wifi. Needless to say, he can't wait for Starlink because HughesNET while faster than I figured is laggy as hell and the cap is crap.

Copying text into the translation app is still a hit or miss for me. Most of the time it just sits there doing nothing. It annoyed me so much, I downloaded Google Translate again

Ouch! I can find the beta 8 ipsw's but cannot find the GM unless it is still being uploaded.

Yes, this setting. For whatever reason, it's greyed out for me. Has been since b5, also on my iPad.

I tell you what, my bench mark better improve by morning or im going back to a Nokia 8110, as it’s a 1000 off (MC 1796 iPhone XR) from iOS 13.5 speed, which I’ve just come from. Hoping it’s just the indexing, but 14 beta 8 was the same 😬
