No grudge, it's really just the way you come back at others' speculation that stands out to me. Whether you end up right or wrong, I guess I just need to accept that even great forums like Macrumors can end up getting polluted by bullies. So, back to the speculation.. From what I can remember, Apple tends to keep the new initial version of OS X/macOS for its own week. Any point updates after tend to be the same day as iOS updates, and usually a little later in the day. This week's point release update to iOS before a new major macOS version makes perfect sense. I would speculate to say that the first beta of iOS 14.2 would come out calendar week #47, possibly the 17th.
