Geeeeeeez.... I just sent about 40 emails this morning asking people to update to 14.1 on their issued devices.

1.1GB from 14.1 Public Release on my 12 Pro.
Maybe by time they get around to it, it will pull down 14.2 instead
You‘re on a beta build. Full releases that aren‘t equal to the last beta always come with a full download instead of delta downloads.
I'm sure there'll be plenty of those and then I'll get a nice email from BITS about devices being on versions not yet approved for managed devices. If I'm lucky they'll have a rule built into the profile not allowing anything past 14.1.Maybe by time they get around to it, it will pull down 14.2 instead

No point, IMO. I've upgraded OTA for as long as it's been an option and my phones have always run great.
You going to do the same for the others that were saying it would be next week or won’t be today? As it wasn’t just me..... someone might thing you’ve got a grudge because we don’t get on.....

Yea, I was skeptical, as it didn’t fit the usual Apple way, but then this year has been a year of them doing it a little different.
I was sure either way that 14.3 beta was coming next week, we will see.
2020 is definitely a crazy year for apple. Upcoming Beta 14.3 may have 3 to 5 betas before public release. I doubt we will have more as it will be too close to the chistmas holiday. Of course, this year is special so anything can happen.
If it’ll be anything like prior years, expect a potentially buggy build for an extra week or two over the holidays. I’ve been burned before over the holidays like I know many others have as well.

I’ve been away from the forum today but knew 14.2 dropped. Reading all the “no way” posts (and not just from you) was funny. I’d probably have been right there with you!

I reckon next week and I think Wednesday, or maybe Monday. I’m doubtful of Tuesday due to the Silicon event. Mind you, my track record is crap now hahah.
I’m hopping off the beta train with 14.2 and macOS 11.0.1.
I think 14.3 beta next week with the new handoff to HomePod features shown at the October event.
Are those not present in the 14.2 release? I've not got a HomePod yet, so not aware.
