Not true. You can absolutely get support from Apple while running a beta. Done it many times. Do you have anything to support this claim?

Yes. Its oficial policy that you won’t get Support for issues with your hardware when you are on Beta. When Apple was doing cheap battery Exchange the wouldn’t change my battery because I was on beta. They said there test Software wouldnt run. I was on 73% battery health.

Let's see if iOS 14.2 might come out today, although at this point sometime next week seems more likely.

I've had a person come into my shop asking If we removed beta software from iPhones. I laughed. (I work in an authorized Premium Apple Reseller)

I had 3 batteries replaced with iOS 12 beta builds on. Also in Germany (Sindelfingen). There is an official Apple Store in Stuttgart???

Hall monitor! ?. jk

I was really hoping for 14.2 yesterday, but it looks like maybe next week. Though, it seems weird NOT to release it this week. But we’re already at Thursday, so...

I’m noticing a stutter on my 12 Pro and hoping the next iOS version will fix it.
Well my quote didn't post earlier, (drats) BUT was gonna say that Thursdays are very common release day for iOS so don't count out today for release.

I was thinking they were usually Tuesdays. Maybe I’m mixing that up with beta releases. Idk. It’s 2020. My brain is in sync with the year. I need a drink. ??

And you nailed it! Downloading 14.2 now.

Apple have a schedule for public releases and they stick to it. The RC for 14.2 was meant to be this week (as evidenced by the WatchOS & tvOS RC releases yesterday). It only came out Friday due to the emergency fix due to the massive 'a new update is available' bug that was happening every 5 minutes.

Therefore, if the public release is next week, as it appears that it was intended, then that's what will happen. Don't forget (with the 1 off incident of 14.0), there's usually 1 week between GM & public release.
Whelp..
