That does make sense. Anything over 10 (incremental from the day before) is anomalous. But something that requires updates makes total sense. This may explain the app updates you’re seeing: https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=707raiff

And now, AirPods Max. Shipping 12/15. Requires 14.3. So we know it'll drop before they arrive!
My money is on iOS 15 beta 1 today
Negative. Fitness+ is available starting Monday and requires 14.3, so it should be released before then.14.3 Next Tuesday...
If I had to guess, we won’t see the iMessage notification fixed yet. I’ve been in communication with Apple on it and they don’t know the cause yet.so worried not seeing the message notification fix, green tint and also dual sim 5g.....
are we needing another iOS update?
Public release will be Monday, due to aforementioned Fitness+.
RC most likely today.
I'd expect an RC to be released first for Devs.Is it possible they release 14.3 today and just “activate” the Fitness+ app on Monday? That seems unlikely right?
Apple Fitness+ will automatically appear as a new tab in the Fitness app on iPhone
The way they phrased Apple Fitness+'s availability in today's Newsroom article suggest that iOS 14.3 might actually come ahead of Apple Fitness+. Otherwise it wouldn't "automatically appear" if it comes as part of the 14.3 update.
My money is on this week for all three.iOS 14.3, watchOS 7.2 and macOS Big Sur 11.1 will launch on Monday, December 14th.
