iOS 14 Release Speculation

Strong rumors that some sort of product is being released by Apple tomorrow. My guess (as stated above) is that it is Fitness+. I suspect that they will release a "Coming later today" announcement at 8:30am ET tomorrow and that Fitness+ will arrive with 14.3 at 1pm ET. Who knows, maybe an updated AppleTV as well!

Just updated my HomePod mini to 14.2 and now the Music app crashes when trying to control the HomePod via the Music app on 14.2.1

Do you mean 14.2.1?. Just released for the Homepod and the Homepod Mini.

Sorry, I meant 14.2.1

Also, after restarting both my HomePod mini and iPhone mini, things seem to be working alright.

Yeah I just posted in there. Thought I was out of the woods, but this new HomePod update has really wrecked the Music app on 14.2.1

Strong chance of Apple TV being the product. Ultra reliable leaker L0vetodream said it in a rather unusual clear text
 
Sorry for triple posting: it’s actually a joke by L0vetodream about another so called leaker that said there would be an Apple TV released tomorrow. So, no Apple TV

Why Thursday? The functionality of this is already in 14.2.1.

This function has been enabled since iOS 13.7
 
Quite a few app updates this morning for me, which has in the past hinted at an imminent iOS update - my money is on 14.3 final today. Hopefully this will sort the Microsoft email issues 🤞

Even if there is a release today, it is not likely to be different from beta 3. Whatever is pending resolution in beta 3, will continue to remain so in the final release of it so happens today.

App updates are just coincidental. We’ve had point releases when there were hardly any.

As has been said, the number of app updates means nothing.
