Looks like we're moving to weekly betas now. I just got an AppleSeed email saying action was going to be required "in order to install this week's beta". The email I received was regarding HomePod specifically, but I'd still lean towards saying we'll see everything else as well.

As for the "required action", the email says the HomePod needs to have Automatic Update enabled. A manual update won't be available.

Out of curiosity, how does one install HomePod beta profiles? Is it done via iOS?

yes thru iOS.
Thanks for answering that one. I'm not running betas on my HomePods, so wasn't sure of that. Actually come to think of it, that being the case, I'm not sure why I keep getting emails about HomePod betas! I must've acted on the initial invite to it last summer and forgot about it. The only other Apple device I don't run betas on is my watch and I don't get those emails.

HomePod profile shows up on HomePod.
Thanks, I asked as I'd only bought and received my mini just a short time ago, it is running 14.4 and seems to be fine with my iPhone XS Max running 14.5 with my Watch and iMac also on the latest stuff. Without a U1 chip iPhone, guess there would not be much too different though. I decided to wait for iPhone 13 or 12s before updating this XS as it is still a great device.
After the 'newness' of the mini wears off, never takes too long in my case, I'll check to see if it has any beta software to try out.

... Since we're on the topic, this sentence kinda makes no sense :p
Well no not when you cut it like you did. :) Point being saying "nothing today" 5 minutes BEFORE its typically released is what makes no since. Saying it maybe 5 mins AFTER may would. Or even earlier in the day if thats your guess that there is nothing happing on x day. Its the timing is what is being discussed here.

Yeah. I think its safe to say.........Nothing today! :D Perhaps tomorrow!!
I can nit-pick on your statement and say- you could have waited for another day. I can also state to me your statement makes no sense and it is not speculation.

Kindly have a look at my speculations. The Nothing Today were always 3-5 minutes after the PST of 1000 am.
