why does that follow from RC on Tuesday?
I’m not running the beta, I’m getting impatience, I want iOS 14.5 now for my 12 pro max.? ?‍♂️?

Don’t want to risk installing the beta, reports out there it’s fixed the green tint for some and not for others ??‍♂️

Waiting for the final release might be the smarter option. ?

I think the final release of 14.5 was always going to be released when it is released, so I don’t think a RC this week will have any impact on that.

Sounds like you have the green screen issue. How would installing a beta that fixes it for some but not all increase your risk? If you already have it, you will have it until you install a release that fixes it. You might win the lottery by installing the beta.

But, if you haven’t installed it by now, I’d just wait and install the final release.

Not sure if this is a sign of a release, but I submitted feedback for 14.4 that wallpapers were going back to default for some rooms in the Home app. I got feedback that it was fixed but they referenced the latest beta release. Which I found a little odd to report on a public but get feedback on a beta. None the less I hope that they are doing feedback clean up in preparation for a RC.

This is expected.
Obviously they cannot go back in time to fix the same 14.4 release on which you have found an issue with. They will anyways fix in future releases, which in your case happens to be 14.5 beta 3. Even this to me seems too quick.
Good luck.
