Yeah, it happens... especially for the final beta before the GM release, which was beta 9 last year.
The average length of the last beta before GM from iOS 3 to iOS 13 is just over 37 days. For iOS 10-13 the average length of the beta that immediately precedes GM is 18 days.

Mhm. That seems logical. But unless you work for Apple, this is just an educated guess aka speculation.

You need to use caps and lots of exclamation points. Otherwise, its not as official as his post.
Yes but most of us were already on the 13.1 beta before the GM was even out. Remember all the issues last year...
That is totally irrelevant. My post was in response to this:
In his post, @gtmead tried to suggest that a 29-day beta was not unusual. My point is that the last beta before the GM is typically longer-lived... but otherwise, they are typically 12-15 days apart early on, and 7-ish days later in the release cycle.
Whatever else was happening with various versions of iOS concurrently is not germane to the discussion.

I didn't realise their engineers were allowed to go on forums and tell people when the next betas were coming out.
What's up with the iPhone 12 and the Arm Macbooks?
If you're an Apple Engineer, then why did you have to send your device to Apple via UPS? Surely you'd just have the tools to do it yourself, or something?
Or at least they don’t do it for long , remember madscotsman ? (We didn’t know if he worked for Apple but he just disappeared one day and never came back)

I'd really like to see releases on Mondays from now on so I'm going to say today.
But this is 2020. There is no “normal”!
I would like to see a beta today, but Tuesday is probably more likely.
