I guess today is the day that I will update from beta 1 to beta 4... Hoping beta 4 is smooth!

Question about the Public Betas. How do I figure out which PB I am on? I have done all the updates for the public betas (I tend to avoid the developer ones) but when I go into Settings/Update on my iPhone 11 it just says 14.0 and I don't remember what it said when I did the update. Is there anyway to tell? Thanks

When you go into settings/about, tap the software version, if it shows 18A5332f , then you are on PB2, the latest.

Yep that's it. That's what I thought but I would swear some people have referred to PB3 (and yes I know the developer betas are one version ahead). Thanks.

I hope whenever the next update is they finally fix the weather widget. No matter if I choose my location or a preselected location it NEVER updates.

I just hope the new public beta will include Apple News+ audio stories. It doesn't seem right that I'm a paying subscriber and can't access that new feature because I'm on the beta!

They might or they might not have it resolved. It may depend on WHY it is "broken", assuming for the matter that it IS broken and not the result of something they are working on.

Ah. thanks for that clarification.

Generally now, the Public Beta Build and the Dev Beta Build are the same, meaning if you’re on the Public Beta or the Dev Beta, the features/potential issues should be the same. The only real difference is that the Public Beta is delayed a little bit in case of any major issues.
