Has anyone been able to load Watch beta 4? There shows to be a new beta but it is not registering for me.

New macOS and watch betas installed here, now next question in my mind is are we going to go weekly release cycle in 7 days or so?
Been happy with iOS 14, watch and macOS betas so far, not as painful as previous cycles from my experience.

Assuming Apple is sticking to a similar schedule as past years, beta 4 is 2 week cycle, then 1 week starts with beta 5.

I’m only speculating, but considering how stable iOS 14 has been overall compared to iOS 13, a weekly cycle could start next week (Aug 11?), with the Public Beta coming out later same day as the Dev Beta.

That's not how the beta cycle works... releases don't come more or less frequently based on how stable the release process has been to that point. Apple has set a fixed schedule internally, and they will stick to it, barring any show-stopper issue from a beta release (bricking phones, can't call, no cellular connectivity, etc). Understand that they have internal builds much father along than what we see in the form of bi-weekly releases... it's not happening.

And historically, as we get later into the beta process, the public betas do get released on the same day as the developer preview builds... so that is also not going to be affected by how stable any given release is, again, barring a show-stopper issue (in which case, the public beta will be obviously delayed).

Not to be all “that guy”, but this isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve been running betas on my iPhone since my iPhone 4. Yes Apple has a schedule that they like to stick to. But after last year’s iOS 13 debacle (releasing 13.1 before 13 was even released to the public on mew iPhones?), and knowing how the pandemic is impacting everyone’s workflow, I’m sticking to the first sentence in my post saying “I’m only speculating”...

The 13.1 was an abnormality. Apple usually only changes from habit with abnormalities like that. If anything, they could stretch it out, as some people think that iOS 14 will be release later than usual as the new devices are going to be later than usual. A beta seeming 'more stable' is not an abnormality.

I have inside information from a guy holding an Apple, who knows someone who has been to an Apple store that the public beta will be released today!

Well I saw a bird in Central Park eating an apple nearby the 5th Ave Cube and that bird told me PB4 will be released tomorrow.
