Seems to make the most sense to me.

Also is virtually identical to what Apple has done for the last ~10 years. While 2020 has been a different year, and Apple doesn't stick to the exact same schedule for every hardware or software milestone, Apple releasing Beta 1 of a software on the 1st day of WWDC, and the GM of that same software at the hardware announcement event, rarely diverge from precedent.

So you are no early adopter? I can‘t name a single major release that didn‘t have issues like keyboard lag or other annoyances. They‘ll ship the GM with issues, whether it‘s the same build as B8 or a few tiny steps ahead, doesn‘t matter.

We‘re too late into the beta cycle to see any bug fixes or tweaks we requested. Stuff like resizing widgets placed on the home screen also wont make the cut until 14.x, I‘m 100% certain.

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Again, to Everyone: If there is an update today, make sure to check what you’re actually updating to. Make sure it’s not iOS 14.1 b1

I’m not expecting what happened last year to happen again this year, though. With hardware being delayed, there should be adequate time for a release and then test for 14.1 after the standard “wait a week or two” release cycle. Hopefully lol

Does anyone here use the Earnin app?

I’m curious if it works yet with the 14 Beta. I had the first couple of versions of the public beta and it never worked. Basically the only app I had that didn’t work.

I just don’t get it. It’s on the last page, it’s not like it’s getting in the way or anything.
Yea the only possible thing that could be an issue that I can think of is sometimes I go to tap but accidentally drag. So if I'm on my last home screen, and the app library is hidden, an accidental left swipe won't go anywhere.

This clearly seems to be a very divisive feature for some reason. I'm with you. I don't use the list feature much but I don't let that get me down!
Yea I only ever go to the library to delete a less used app that isn't on my home screen.

Are we really expecting a GM today? Personally, I can't see it without new phones. Otherwise people will be drilling through the code and announcing new features of the phones before they're launched/revealed.

Yes, GM today. The new Apple watches require iOS 14, Series 6 is launching this week.

They can hide all the iPhone 12 stuff in 14.1

Also, we will see new phones at the keynote. It would be a huge flop if not, and given the pandemic, people want something to be excited over.
Well, short of there being some sort of "one more thing" type of surprise, seems like the keynote today isn't about the iPhone.
