I don't know if what you are saying is accurate. I sent a wish list to Apple via email around iOS 10. By iOS 13, all the features I asked for were implemented.
How about swipe for the full iPad keyboard? I know you can swipe with the mini keyboard but I would prefer it on the full keyboard.
I’m hopeful that iOS 14 will be for the iPhone what iOS 13 was for the iPad, in terms of progress in a bunch of areas that had been lacking. iPad has become so much more useful in the past year.
Wishlist for iOS 14:
- split screen or at least PIP
- big improvements to Phone.app and Contacts.app (better design - no more full screen calls etc)
- new home screen layout (the folders need to be updated to take advantage of the bigger iPhone screens instead for being stuck in the small screen days)
- more customization to Do Not Disturb
- Mail.app that just works 😂
... and others. These are some of the bigger ones for me. I’m excited for June!

The music app on the iPad needs a major redesign, especially the now playing screen. It doesn’t take advantage of the large display.

I’ve been asking for this for years, yes please. I know Apple doesn’t realize it, but not every album is on iTunes. Why can’t I download an album through Safari, open it in the Files app, and import it into Music?

Need a way already to skip the next instance of alarms without turning them off permanently like on Android already!
Looks like Windows Live tiles which was a nice concept to provide more information instead of static icons. It's useful for weather, calendar, reminders apps though it could impact battery life.
A Cydia tweak I hope iOS 14 steals is CallBar. It’s such a simple tweak, but it’s so convenient having the call screen hover in a tiny bar throughout the system.
Syncing across devices has become a mess. At least for my wife and I. Apple tech support admitted to me it’s a known issue they’re working on. Mostly a minor inconvenience now but for a while we were missing reminders.
