A proper do not disturb schedule (on/off multiple times in a day) and also an option to remove the 3D Touch thingy. It takes slightly longer to hold an app icon and make it wiggle to delete, long enough that it's super annoying.
Siri call screening would be pretty cool, if Apple could figure out how to do that and keep it all private that’d be great.I'd really like Siri to answer my phone calls like Google does. Perhaps it'll help separate the spam callers from the legit callers. I do not answer my phone anymore because of these damn spam calls. If Siri could screen my calls, I'd take back every bad thing I've said about Siri.
I’m thinking that’s what iOS 14 will be as well, I hope this doesn’t turn into a regular pattern for Apple.iOS 12 was basically ironing out the bugs from iOS 11. Perhaps iOS 14 will be focusing on bug fixes as well. Gee I hope the mail app is fixed before then!
Time Machine in iPadOS, interesting. I do agree it should definitely be there though.iOS:
- PIP
- spit screen Multitasking
- astrophotography
- picture profiles (standard, natural, vivid) and ability to set noise reduction: pictures are currently way too saturated, aggressively de-noised, and over-sharpened, for my tastes.
iPadOS, one important feature plus a lot of refinement
- Time Machine
- Polished multitasking
- Better mouse support (option to set scrolling direction and speed, traditional cursor shape, gestures support for apple devices)
- better keyboard support (including APIs for game developers, shortcuts to enter/exit slide over/split screen
Well lucky for you they introduced this 3 years ago 👌Delete stock apps.
I don’t want to put them in a folder if I’m never going to use them.
Photos: The ability to set custom albums show the images in order from newest to oldest (like the Favorites album does now).
I have multiple albums with 500-2000 photos in each so it's incredibly frustrating to scroll all the way to the bottom of the custom album to view the newest pics first (which is what I always want). Also the scroller tab is way too small to use and I can never catch it on the first try.
Oh thanks for the tip! Never had an idea these functions exist. These must be the least intuitive gestures in iOS so far hahaRemember you can also tap the top bar to go to the top and tap the buttons on the bottom bar to go to the bottom of the album. If your in an album press the albums button. If your in photos press photos button.
No scrolling and no scroll bar required!
Between this and not being able to skip the next instance of an alarm, does Google have some persistent patent on these things??? It is able to recognize a holiday and warn me to fix my alarm, but why doesn't it just let me skip it instead of modifying and possibly forgetting to reenable and being late for work the next Thursday???iOS 13 urgently needs to provide the option for phone calls to stop hijacking the entire screen!!
