I did erase my phone and I set up by transferring data from my old phone. I didn’t do iCloud back up.
Not sure what else you mean.
Seems to be a bug imo as most people transfer from old phone fromfrom back up.

Is the music icon also like this on your phone?
Also if you click on the actual sounds does it then show an icon. For me if I click music with the blank icon I then am able to see the red icon.
I haven’t restored my phone from iOS 14, and this didn’t exist then. I haven’t had the books app since Apple gave us the ability to remove it, so I’m not sure what that’s about. Anyway, I’ve submitted a feedback.
I tried reinstalling and deleting the app, but it does nothing.
You will be able to do just that with SharePlay. The other person will have to give you control during SharePlay's screen sharing feature.

Now you got me thinking again. I know Control can be given to the other person when screens are shared between macs using Big Sur and above. I may have based my conclusion on that experience. I will have confirm for the iPhones when I get a moment.

When Apple announced it at their keynote it was view only, I’m sure. A bit like when Apple technical support come into your phone, they can only view not control.
I don't think one can even share the normal phone screen / homescreen. It needs apps to support it.
I’ve had it happen to me doing a transfer from an old iPhone to new one back when going from iOS 13 to 14. Transferring data is restoring a backup, but from a phone rather than computer or iCloud. All the same process, just different sources.
That’s not a thing announced by Apple, AFAiK, maybe you’ve misconstrued what was demoed for SharePlay at the event.
Morning, A little off topic but related to connectivity and your all on here so, I didn’t realise Apple had a dedicated page on router best case settings… so I geeked out last night, 29wk preggo wife ain’t no fun when she hits the sack at 9pm, anyway, a couple of settings I tweaked and I’m really noticing a difference in connectivity on apple devices. Waking in the morning after it’s been asleep for hours used to result in me some times turning Wi-Fi off/on on my iPhone, I’ll see how it goes but this morning it felt really snappy and then I remembered I’d changed some settings. Mail, I’s back on steroids checking for Mail fast. Good to check anyway I suppose, Here’s the link…

Exposure notifications was running overnight and was doing the draining of my 4 to 5 percent loss.. turned that crap off its never notified me ever that I was ever exposed and I’m around 1000’s of people every weekend and nothing so it got turned off and next day no drain over night !!!
I guess. I mean I can’t do a clean set up cause I have lots of things on my phone. Plus most don’t start as new so this “bug” effects more people than it doesn’t.
Doubt a restore would help either since the phone was brand new when I got it and would transfer the “bug”. anyway
As long as it doesn’t effect usage it’s just one icon in settings that is off.

I can't take that serious. They say "turn on optimized battery charging" but "turn off significant locations". How many times it was mentioned that "optimized battery charging" only works with that?
