Hi stumpy this is me writing using dictation in the UK on EE. Paragraph. Paragraph I don’t seem to have a problem.Sorry, I couldn’t face explaining it again with how I was feeling about the cluster **** that is 15.1. Then I forgot to reply back to you.
Using dictation, when I say the words “full stop” it will add it and then about 20% of the time it will then automatically add a full paragraph.
It just did it there. When I had my new iPhone 13 pro max I didn’t even sign in with an Apple ID, I just connected it to Wi-Fi and it took 2 1/2 minutes to replicate the problem. I raised it with Apple during the iOS 14.1 days where it would actually type in the word paragraph rather than insert a paragraph so they have “improved” it somewhat. They promised a update would be released to fix the problem because they replicated it but of course they never did.
I’ve got a friend of mine to try on his phone, he’s also in the UK, and he has the identical problem. Different phones, but both on EE… Don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
However, oh and what a surprise, when the phone is set to United States the problem doesn’t exist and it works absolutely perfectly. And you also get visual look up (which is flippin’ brilliant) as a bonus but that’s another bone of contention which I’m not saying anything more about.

Anyone know if 15.1 will help resolve some issues with AirPods connection? I've seen others have issues with their AirPods and iOS 15. One of my biggest issues is apps randomly freeze like messages did today. Or games, Safari, Music, I've had tons of app freezes after a reset (restored cloud backup maybe that was the issue). If iOS 15.1 Beta doesn't resolve this I'll do a reset and no cloud restore.

the dictation is that bad I’m not surprised you can’t understand it.
yes it’s adding the word paragraph. V annoying.
and I installed the RC via finder IPSW, so a clean install.
So when you say “full stop” it’s actually adding the word “paragraph” after the “.” sometimes? Just to confirm, for me it actually adds a paragraph, IE two lines rather than add the word “Paragraph” after I say “full stop” like it used to.
Other than that, I find the dictation quite accurate as long as you talk slowly steadily and clearly.
In iTunes, you use the "SHIFT" + Check for Updates
Yes I have AirTags and the new leather wallet with tracking on.
If I say “full stop paragraph”
I get “. Paragraph”
and yes, it adds a paragraph after I ask for just a “.”

But…the initial issue you asked me about was when just saying “full stop” it would then add two new line feeds (paragraph) without me asking (not actually add the word literally). It does it about 20% of the time.
What you have described is another issue entirely. I tried it and it worked for me.
I replicated it by just waffling, in a blank note for example, and adding a few “full stop” and within 2 mins it screws up.
Did Google change their search result fonts or did Apple, cause it’s definitely different on 15.1.
Okay, in that case, that is probably why you are seeing activity on the Find My app then. That is the app that those devices "talk" to in order to operate.
Any luck? It’s still awful because the number of photos and videos differ massively between my iPhone and iPad. Same with Featured Photos.
My battery seems to be awesome with 15.1. iPhone 13 Pro
This is most likely because of AirTags.

For a while, turning off find my network fixed the drain for me, but now it’s always constantly in the background, even with find my network turned off. My AirTags are now sitting in a drawer in the wardrobe with their battery out and find my doesn’t run in the background anymore.
Installing the RC from an ipsw, my photos library reset the people folder and the curation layout. It redid all of it after being connected to the charger for a few hours. Anyone else?
Plus, there are more iPhone users not on the iPhone 13, so the users in this bubble are a small amount of iPhone 13 users, who are a small amount of iOS devices overall. Yet they forget about this and think they are the centre or the galaxy... 🤪
