Experiencing CarPlay bugs esp. with the used app, and touch sensitivity issues on my 12PM. Didn’t have these issues on the RC build.

Anyone else experiencing a bug where HomeKit thinks I’m outside my home while being in? Keeps switching off my lights and changing my cameras to recording.

Apple doesn’t know how to fix it - spent 3 hours on the phone to Apple Support today.

Battery is awful here on my 13 Pro and 2021 iPad Pro 12.9” after upgrading to 15.3.

The issues I’m still having:

- Auto correction still changes right words into ones which doesn’t make sense or doesn’t fit in that sentence. Since iOS 8 or so.

- Swipe keyboard creating wrong words and the auto correct is much worse here. Since iOS 13.

- Touchscreen freezes in the lockscreen while replying to a message. Since iOS 14.

- Touchscreen freezes everywhere suddenly. Cannot swipe from left to right and right to left. Only a soft reset resolved that issue. Since iOS 15.

- Having new emails but not getting any notifications. Since iOS 13.

- Translate app is still useless with the translations which doesn’t make any sense. Since iOS 14.

- App Store still has frame rate issues while opening the whole description. Since iOS 15.

13PM
- Don’t have all these but have 1,2,5, and 6.
- Still have some tabs in Safari open in light mode instead of dark mode.
- Not getting all my calendar alerts on AW.
- Message alerts may/may not have sound.
- Still have sporadic touch issues - requires double tap to launch app sometimes.

Put IPP11 on 15.4b1.

Seems very smooth and fast to me. Also the CarPlay music bug that came with 15.2 has been fixed. When carplay starts it goes right to music (if last thing) rather than top music menu screen.
Duff-Man says....yes - that CarPlay music bug that started in 15.2 was annoying as I use it every day to/from work. Nice to see it back to normal....oh yeah!

Jump on that bandwagon also. My 13PM battery is worse and I am seeing even more “background” activity under 15.3
Here is a new one - Settings: 48 minutes screen on time, 36 minutes background. Settings with background? Never saw that before.
I have noticed worse cellular data speeds with the updated 1.55.0 modem firmware compared to this 15.3!? just FyI,in my case anyways.. good luck!!

I think it's more for better comfort level, where you are sure, there will be no hiccup / unusual behavior from previous installation. I am also willing to do this if I have spare time (which unfortunately I don't have).

Aside from that, 15.3 is running great on iPP 11 M1 (OTA update from 15.2.1). Battery life is also slightly better (didn't really measure).
Well actually you can never be sure because “hiccup/unusual behavior” seems to be the norm and can happen with iOS pretty much anytime. ?

I’ve found I’ve had a minimum of bug/issues by doing the simplest (OTA always) installations and not coming here to read through all the angst, which is highly amusing though when I do. I have to say 15 in all has been one of the most problem free releases in some time. Out of our 4 four devices I don’t think we’ve had anything to complain about, other than occasional iCloud glitches which aren’t ios related. I use the betas, my wife only uses the general releases. OTA installations have been eezy peezy. But it’s still entertaining, and distracting in the current state of the world, to read through the posts here!:)
Same here. Typically just close all apps, reboot then update. Since iP4s days with iOS 5.0. Works for me even with betas along the way. Only a “reset all settings” a few times if something kooky going on.

I’ve finally updated my iPhone 11 from 14.7 to 15.3.
More than 24 hours in and no real issues. Battery life is fine (certainly no worse than 14.7), response is snappy, Wifi and Cellular speeds are the same, camera is fine, Safari works fine as well as my other apps. Mail is the same as iOS 14 (not great but no worse).

I've been sitting on the sidelines since 14.8. Although, never a Beta user, I've always been an early adopter. Given the issues experienced by so many users, I restrained myself this time around. Do you think that 15.3 is stable enough to make the jump? TIA.

No issues whatsoever on my 13 Pro Max. But 15 overall has been almost issue free for me.

Updated my sons 7 to 15.3…. Still have the same bug where it’s reporting background photos activity overnight every night all night long.. Anyone else see this? It’s been happening on every version of iOS 15 on his 7. This is keeping me from going from 14.8.1 on my 7 to iOS 15. I’ve seen other reports on here of people having strange background activity reported. Sometimes his messages app reports it too. I’ll keep staying away until these little nit pick bugs are adressed! I might be waiting quite a bit longer!

Like others, I am having battery issues with 15.3 on a 12 mini. They seem Bluetooth related. When I use apps that are enabled for Bluetooth, battery life takes a massive dive. No other apps seem to have the same negative impact.

Maked the jump from 14.8.1 to 15.3 on my SE2020. Not big difference in battery life and it’s runs smoothly.

I hardly use my phone, and generally get through 20% per day. So four days "use", then I charge when at ~20%.

After updating to 15.3, the phone's been using ~2% per hour, giving less that two days use.

I just noticed that the 15.3 update switched bluetooth on – I don't use it – switching it off has fixed the problem.

So my experience, like yours, points to a bluetooth issue.

Would be helpful, to me, people with issues said how they did the update - reset and full install or upgrade over air or itunes/finder. I suspect from some of these reports that some settings are being saved in backups and so reset to original setting in the reset and full install.
