I'm not experiencing any wifi/cellular connection issues on my 13mini on Verizon since 15.2 or 15.2.1 and I haven't yet had an issue on 15.3 RC. I use a physical SIM and my home doesn't have great cell signal either.
Same situation here. A physical sim and only a mediocre Verizon signal. I tweaked a setting for data roaming which was previously off and so far so good, fingers crossed.

I hope it fixed it.

My cellular settings are: Data Roaming On, 5G Auto and Allow more data. Also, WiFi calling enabled.

Got a 13 pro 2 days ago and it seems to drop the data connection every so often, both cellular and WiFi. Don’t know if it is the RC I installed or the device itself. Tweaking settings to try and find a fix. I just think I made the right tweak when it will do it again. Toggling airplane mode fixes it till the next time.
Anyone have any insight on this issue, common problem? Really liking the phone.
Yes it is. Apple just reached out to me two days ago regarding my feedback. They told me to check 15.3 cuz the modem firmware was update. On b3 it was horrendous and I don’t expect much difference on the RC. Yet here I am. I still drop data.

Ah ha! Maybe that’s what I should’ve done. Just switched mine on so we shall see.

If it helps, that would be awesome but it would seem weird that data roaming needs to be enabled. Usually this is designed to block data outside of your region so you don't get a surprise uptick on your bill. Obviously, having an international phone plan negates that but not everyone has international.

Get that al lot on wakeup. Predominately WiFi.
13PM.
same here on SE 2020. especially after long sleep time, so could be energy saving 'enhancement' as battery life does seem better. airplane mode toggling helps.

It shouldn’t use data roaming if your in a Verizon area. If on a long road trip then maybe. And of course internationally.
It’s been a few hours now and I’m still good so Hoping this fixes it.

I also have an SE 2020 and use it to run my music via WiFi. Holds a data signal fine. Never had an issue previously with it either. From what I read on the web on a ton of different sites it would seem this is mainly an iPhone 13 issue.
My 13Pro would lose data signal anytime, even when going from one web site to the next and curiously both Verizon data and WiFi data would drop off at the same time, so I dunno about it doing it on wake up but the SE may be a whole different data issue.

Stuck on 3G for a long while when others around were on 5G or 4G had to fiddle with turning lines on and off before over coming. Prior build wasn’t acting like this , same room same location.

Issues with Wi-Fi and carriers try a network reset after new iOS installs.
Yeah, first thing I tried. Also tried a hard reset which actually may be helping. Fingers crossed for that. Issue is very sporadic. A big issue is I have friends using what's app that needs functioning data to work. I missed some texts yesterday and caused them to be concerned.

15.3 beta1 PERFECT- no battery drains and almost bug free.

15.3 beta2 and 15.3rc - massive battery drain here, 40% overnight, my battery is worst than ever (iPhone 13 pro max).
Battery stats doesn't indicate what is the app which is taking SO MUCH battery.

I don't understand what are doing at apple.

Anyone with the same issue?

Second stage, I’d do a fresh IPSW instal. And third… wait for iOS 16 ?.

sorry your having a rough time, these are betas after all. You might need to consider doing a restore to be sure you don’t have a bug. I wouldn’t wait around hoping 15.4 will magically fix things. Keep proactive and work through these potential fixes. I have found that the IPSW reinstall works really well or deleting apps and reinstalling. Restore has been a last resort but been a great safety net to clear s*** up. ??

Nope. This RC is better than all the betas for me on my 12.

What steps have you taken to rectify?

The battery life on my 13 pro max is fantastic. Have you performed a complete fresh install of iOS? I know that’s the last thing most people want to do, but it may resolve your battery issues.

Sorry you’re experiencing those problems, that’s a LOT of battery drain isn’t it. I’d definitely go for a full wipe and fresh ISPW install.

Yeah same here. Well I didn’t try any other the 15.3 betas, but the battery life on my 13pm did drop a bit when I went from 15.2 to 15.2.1. It’s only been a couple of days, but my battery life has been great with 15.3.

Have they fixed the bug where the calendar alert tone plays a different sound from the one selected?

I can regret this page or go to another and it loads no problem. Open YouTube app right after, waiting waiting waiting waiting ⏱⏱⏱⏱⏱ and get Sorry, try again. Close and open, then maybe it loads. A data connection can’t hold for anything one minute. Five mins later everything his good. This is in cellular T-Mobile.

Tried to replicate but can’t.
iPhone 12 on EE.

I have quite a few outstanding defects with Apple on this. They’ve acknowledged it and asked if the current beta helped. No, not for me at least and others who’ve reported it too. You’re lucky!

Right after i posted the first message, I waited a min and came back. The page wouldn’t load. Nothing would. Turn airplane on and off, on and off, on and off…eventually after 6 tries connection was made.

I hope iOS 15.3 final will be as rock solid as it was the first beta, back in december. I want to update from 14.4.2 so badly, because I need Safari tab groups.
