Do you see an improvement after the reinstall? Your previous screenshot shows idle battery drain around 50% so could you post the results around the same?
Battery drain tends to be flat when it’s close to 100% so this may not be an accurate observation.

Post 90 first.
Then post 96

Open Feedback and create a new Settings>iPad/iPhone Storage draft. Scroll down and hit “Collect Storage Logs” and it should clear up a significant amount of storage. Worked for me.

I'm not sure if I'm having a blonde moment or there are steps missing

Can you please provide a more detailed step by step description

Maybe I wasn’t clear enough.

#90 shows the idle drain around 50% battery while #96 was when the battery’s close to full. And if the latter is after reinstalling the iOS then could you post an update for the idle drain when it’s around 50%?

The battery drain isn’t linear.

Auto Screen brightness seems to be over sensitive on the 13pro

It tends to autoturn the brightness way up compared to all previous iOS 15 versions

Anyone else on this version using Tapatalk and getting the badge notifications on the icon but when you go into the app there are no new threads or posts highlighted?

Post 90 shows battery drain - in periods of non use

Post 96 shows no battery drain after the reinstall - in periods of non use

yes, I'm seeing improvements after the reinstall. just working with what the graph is showing. Not really wanting to get into things as deep you like. just a simple before and after.

Well this was freaking weird for a Sunday morn …

Selected and deleted all messages.
Then I had a full screen of previously deleted messages show up.

Cause is WTFK

In that case you might be surprised later.

The second graph is misleading as battery drains much faster at lower SoC. And yes, I already got what the graphs meant by looking at them so there’s no need to elaborate on that.
Cheers!

I’ve not had a battery on these phones drain faster after 50%. I would of got it replaced if that was the case. It’s the same chemical process running in your battery at 50% as it is at 100%.

The real sweet spot for your battery is at 50%…

Occasionally, usually after a new software update or a restart I will have previously deleted messages pop back up. Just this year with one update messages from last year popped up. I’ve learned that concerning iCloud, and probably other such services, nothing is ever truly deleted.

Like I mentioned before, there’s no need for any click-bait articles. When I said it drains faster at lower SoCs I meant due to the calibration and how iOS displays the readings and not the actual capacity of the battery itself.
My apologies if I wasn’t clear in my earlier posts.

It’s not click bait. It’s actually an interesting article written by wired, a respectable tech magazine.

Why do you think I’m interested in posting click bait articles on here?

Hmmm….I can’t delete burst photos in deleted items. If I manually select the rest of the photos, they are gone. Choose the remaining burst photo, it never deletes. If I tap and hold the pic, it shows recover. How odd.

These burst pics were initiated from my Apple Watch.

Crazy thing is I do not back up any messages to iCloud. I have majority of iCloud backup turned off.
I do weekly or at times more often backups on my MBP.

With the latest APP update and RC, can’t say things have gotten much better.

If I am using APP on the iPad and I get a call on the 13PM the APP will pick up the call. When the call is completed APP will not switch back to the iPad even if I turn off the 13PM. I have to manually do this.

pita.
