Yep, think it’s a safari issue, also noticing it a bit on LTE ?♂️ Lovely work apple, just before the iPhone launch tomorrow ??♂️

Have Mail set to fetch every 15 minutes.
Went into Safari to do some changes on my last Gmail accounts. What I saw matched what Mail indicated.
Did some reading, replying, deleting, archiving.
4 hours later Mail still had not updated to reflect activity I had done in Safari and was completely incorrect.
It did update once I opened Mail and waited a couple of minutes.
Still broke.
Changing to Spark and I’ll just leave push accounts in Mail.

Field test redesigned. Not sure if it was on iOS 14 but just noticed it
So far so good. The speed is smooth than I expected though once a while there was screen freezing in Setting after some changes were made.
Safari design change is fine. I actually prefer bottom addr bar that I could use thumb to do everything. Browsing is smooth even with private relay was on though I experienced heavy lagging when viewing video replay on website under my office Wi-Fi.

Wow! Safari web translate now supports Japanese.
In ios14, the translate app supports Japanese but not web translate in safari.

Never had that issue on YouTube, I just want safari to be quick again ??♂️ Very inconsistent at the moment.
Have you installed an adblocker? Have not had the issue myself after using an adblocker.
Try disabling the icloud private relay if enabled. It is still a mess and it is hit or miss on speed. Sometimes it's fast, other times, it feels like dial up.
How do I make full headlines appears in notifications? Right now they are getting cut off at the width of the screen which isn't great for a quick glance. Thanks.
That is probably dependent on the app developers to make a change if they desire. I don't think there is anything that the user can do, the app will display whatever it is programmed to display.
Well I now have the safari issue. Battery drains quickly and the phone heats up. Especially on tomsguide. I’ve considered the iPhone 12 Pro as a cool running phone. This is unusual for me.
Same. My iPhone 7 has been nice and cool since installing Firefoxfocus while browsing these forums. It was clearly the ads spinning up the cpu usage and heating up the phones like crazy and draining the batteries.Have you installed an adblocker? It’s the ads. Toms guide has a ton of ads. Even firefoxfocus couldn’t defeat those ads for me! Try not to stay on that site for long!
It's not uncommon. Especially the ads that are animated. Annoying as hell, haha.

yeah I use 1blocker which is fantastic. I thought maybe it was the ads. I don’t see them but it’s like the site just doesn’t load when I scroll down.
That could be a site issue but some sites also misbehave when the user is using an adblocker. Try refreshing first, if all else fails, disable 1blocker first, on that site, then see what happens.
