iOS 15 Speculation Thread

Happy Monday ya'll. This is going to be a very exciting and busy week. We have been waiting for this week for a long time. Can't believe the final release candidate is being released on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, right after the iPhone event.

The madness is about to begin... The forums will be exploding... MacRumors will be busy reporting every single news...Get ready to get blown away!!!

2 things:
1: Not necessarily the *final* release candidate, as could release another between tomorrow and next Wednesday/Thursday.
2: Not necessarily right after the event, could be a couple hours after. Just to temper your expectations.

Unlikely.

for the last decade or so (ignoring last year’s abnormality due to COVID impacting the phones), it’s been RC after event and public release the Wednesday/Thursday before the phones are out.

You and @slyronit are setting yourself up to be disappointed if you expect something today.

Installs iOS 15 and the excitement just isn’t there lol we have to wait until June for iOS 16 to be excited

with safari going now to the bottom which I like means we have to now see the home bar even more yuk, and I will not stop moaning about it until apple sort it out lol

Last year was an anomaly, not a new trend. Apple will stick to what it’s done in prior years, unless something unusual happens, like COVID impacting component supply, which hasn’t happened this year as Apple secured what they needed ahead of time.

If you expect otherwise, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.

Lol it’s just an OS. If it doesn’t drop today, it will drop some other day. Not like I will slit my wrists jajajaja

Well, from your posts, seem to be building up your hopes for change, from Apple who are notoriously stubbornly set in their ways, unless drastic things happen.

RC tomorrow, public release next Wednesday/Thursday, like usual. If anything comes sooner, nice, but unlikely.
 
So what I hear everyone saying is beta 9 today? 😂

yes I know, RC sometime after the event tomorrow!
