Ahhh, I literally said the same thing. But, thanks for your comment. Hope you have a good day today.
No, it’s not ‘literally’ the same thing you said…. (Maybe you need to check the definition of literally, as it sounds like you’re using it wrongly, in a millennial style).

What I posted was adding to what you said, to temper the expectations of you and anyone that takes your posts as verbatim.

We’ve had it before when a 2nd RC has come, therefore tomorrow’s RC is not necessarily the final RC, which it what you stated it would be.

Also, from your post, sounds like you expect the RC to drop as soon as the event ends, but it might not drop for a couple hours after, as we’ve seen that happen too.

I think in previous years (perhaps 2018 type), Mondays were the norm and not Tuesday.
I’m putting the 14.1 Beta 1 thing down to a covid anomaly. I think last year was the only time that happened.

I’m going with 15.1 Beta 1 next week.

How does covid affect the day of beta release as Monday instead of Tuesday.

I’ve only expanded on peoples posts to help with expectations, or added some known facts to people making unrealistic speculation, as it’s pointless to speculate unrealistically.

it’s not against the rules for me to do that…… 🤪 unless you want crazy unrealistic speculation, in which case, I speculate that I will get to beta test iOS 16.0 next week and you can’t post that it’s extremely unlikely….. 🤪

16 is the day after the event 🤣😂🤣😂

Ugh.. now there is reports that x60 modem can’t do this and it will be a feature next year. Will see tomorrow I guess
everything I've heard and read says that there is no way the current radio/antenna set up will allow low earth transmission of anything more than a location pinger and maybe some text. Battery consumption also too high for consistent use. Sounds like at best (for now) an emergency beacon. Which would still be good.

I wonder with the exploits patched today in 14.8 if the RC will be a new build beyond beta 8. Unless those are already patched in beta 8, but I haven't seen that stated anywhere......

Ha! Just updated my iPhone to iOS 14.8. Looks like Apple was ready to say it's good byes to iOS 14, today.

Brilliant way to prepare the public for iOS 15.0. Well executed! 👏

Hoping for at least text or location service would be wonderful

The final version would have to be loaded onto iphones by now if delivery is scheduled for 24th.

But 14.8 today makes me think they have gone back to their regular schedule of RC after keynote and final next week wednesday. After all the complaints last year about releasing the final to the public shortly after the keynote.

Also i think u should be seeing the next beta (15.0.1 or 15.1) soonish

I say 15.1 beta on Wednesday.

Not sure what time zone it thinks I am in. I am in UTC +07:00. 6PM for me is 7:00 AM EST. Which is 6 hours before the actual event time.

In contradiction to my post above I actually think they might follow last years schedule and release iOS 15 this week as soon as Wednesday simply because it contains the exploit fix found in iOS 14.8

The reason i say this is because most people i know aren’t bothering with 14.8 knowing that iOS 15 is just around the corner

So the faster iOS 15 comes out the better i would think

It's not Apple's problem if people don't bother. Also, devs should normally receive the GM at least a week before the general public.
