Same for me. The 12 series is still good enough to not be replaced. I am still holding ON to an AWS4; looking forward to the AWS7.
Yes this is a very good reason. Apple’s relationship with developers right now is not the best. If they can avoid it, they are not going to jam them a second year in a row. Last year there was a reason for the short trigger, due to the release date of the Watch. This year, not so much.
Add to that that only non-primary devices are supposed (don’t @ me) to be on the betas, and there is no real argument for accelerating due the the security vulnerability.

Exactly. I know I’ll love the new iPhone 13 Pro Max but the smaller notch & 120Htz isn’t enough for me to upgrade. Now my wife will be updating her 10 & no doubt if the 13 has AOD it’ll be something I’ll like.
Xcode hasn’t been updated. Lots of bugs there, not necessarily in iOS.
Depends if they release only IPSWs via the dev portal or also allow people with the dev profile to download OTA. I would still probably erase everything, flash the IPSWs and start afreshHappy Apple day.
I always thought going from Beta to RC/final OTA is like a fresh install from iTunes/Finder with backup?
I think the RC today will have a different built number because of the Pegasus Patch
I think it’s already in Beta 8, but wouldn’t be surprised if build is newer than beta 8.
Edit: someone said in another thread that the big fix in 14.8 was for something reported on 7th September, so yea, will be a new build to include that.
Reckon will see 15.0.1 next Friday for the new devices, as they won’t have the bug fix.

I’m hoping the new build for the RC is not just with the Pegasus fix but with more bugs being fixed but im thinking 15.1 beta 1 or 15.0.1 to get more fixes..
I really like it in Winter when they build the European Village and add the ice skating rink. Great places to stop for a drink after work and I usually stay only a block or two away.
