3-week beta cycles are hardly unprecedented — hell, iOS 14.4 went a full four weeks between betas 1 and 2.

Methinks everyone got spoiled by the weekly 15.1 betas and forgot that not every release follows the same cadence. Remember: Apple's schedule, not ours.
That's also a reminder to those who were saying that they would release a new beta faster because of auto brightness bugs...

I think the Mac betas always come out later than the iOS ones, so if we get something I guess it will be tomorrow. I only remember one occasion in which they launched a beta well into the night of Spain, which I imagine will be in the afternoon of Cupertino.

Apple may surprise us and actually release 15.2 to the public tomorrow. No RC.
Possibly, especially with 15.1 no longer signed.

I think next week could see public release of Monterey 12.1 too. For those 'a' build people, the Monterey beta is 'a' build.... ?

After reviewing the last few pages of this thread, I am very happy with my decision to downgrade to 15.1.1 ?
For the well being of your souls, I hope they release an update soon.

Why are people saying iOS 15.1 isn’t signed anymore? It’s correct that iOS 15.1 isn’t signed for iPhone 12 and 13 series, but it’s still signed for every other device supported. iPhone 12 and 13 got 15.1.1 which still is signed so I don’t get why Apple not signing two versions of iOS for a device is a sign. Apple usually doesn’t sign more than one version of iOS.

Because Apple have stopped signing 15.1 outrightly. Anyone on 15.1.1 or the 15.2 beta cannot downgrade to 15.1:

Apple on Tuesday stopped signing iOS 15.1, which means that users who updated their devices to iOS 15.1.1 or iOS 15.2 beta can no longer downgrade to iOS 15.1

iOS 15.1.1 is only available for iPhone 12 & 13. For all other devices 15.1 is still the current release
Current public release, yes.

You're missing out on my point, which I quoted from 9to5mac, about 15.2 beta..... It states those on that cannot downgrade to 15.1. Only the 12 & 13's can downgrade from beta, to 15.1.1

You said: Apple have stopped signing iOS 15.1 absolutely. We said: not true.

They have stopped signing it for all devices, otherwise you would be able to downgrade an iPhone X from 15.2 beta to 15.1. Which you cannot, as per the article I quoted.

People in this thread were saying it was stopped signing for 12 & 13's only, which is not true.
