yes, I do, but by the simple fact of having to do it, it means that there is a problem in iOS, that Apple does not know or does not want to fix. In Android I have never had to uninstall an app, because it has become a space hog, or if it does, the system has the option to clear the cache and goodbye problem. For problems like this, that the only solution is to uninstall the app, or the system if the problem is System Data, does not speak very well of iOS in terms of internal operation. And in this aspect I think nothing has changed since the first version. There are also many others that greatly tarnish the operating system. You have to ask for the madness of being able to put the icons on the desktop wherever you want, or being able to change the notification sound for each app, it must be a complex job, so that more than a decade later everything is still the same.

True.

Then all you can do is report it and temporarily fix it if its bothering you ??

An easy way to know if a beta might come sooner rather than later is if they release the 15.4.1 to the beta channel (people with the dev profile installed)

If we get it, it's probably because they don't plan a new beta soon enough. If we don't get it, it's usually because they know they will release a beta in the next 24h

So if you don't get it, I would advise against removing the profile if you plan on returning to the next beta. They know what they're doing and they don't leave beta channel on past releases unless it's on purpose....

Haha, Yup, you could go back and check historical data regarding this. Pretty much everytime there's an updated version released, if the beta channel does not get it OTA, we get a beta later same day (unusual) or next day (usually)
And people remove the profile to get the production update, and next day, when a new beta gets out, you reinstall the profile and get a full update rather than a delta, because you're now coming from the production channel rather than the dev one, who is generally getting delta updates if you stay there...

edit: clarify the process

OK. Now I understand what you’re saying.

You think that because users with Developer Profiles are not seeing 15.4.1 OTA that that means we will see 15.5 in the next few hours to a day.

Not sure about that, but let’s see. It would be unusual to have a completely new beta released on a Friday.

Totally agree with you about friday (and 1 pm PDT) releases, but I've been watching this since many years, and if the dev profile does not get it, it's usually because we see a new beta pretty soon, but it's usually Mon/Tue/Wed though. And as I don't see it with my dev profile yet. Only time will tell... It may be planned for early next week too.

Well, as noted above, the Dev Profile looks only for betas. That’s why when there is a release candidate (which is designated as a beta for these purposes) you will pick it up with the Dev profile. But when the exact same build is released as the public release, you will not get it (unless you remove the profile).

That may be all there is to this. This is a release version of software, not a beta.

Yeah, not unheard of, but I'd speculate now that 15.4.1 is out that we don't see a beta now until next week. Probably Tuesday. I'm looking for a macOS update, too. Hopefully.
