Coming today? Seems like it if Apple are touting 15.5 features to the press.
Interesting but I feel they would of mentioned 15.5 coming today or at a later date but they didn’t mention any release date

I think this must be a carrier specific issue. No problems in Spain with several carriers.

Perhaps there is no need to an RC2. Perhaps the final version is a new build, or perhaps updating the carrier data alone will do the trick.

Let’s hope so. Would be happy with this out come. Just be nice to have a fix. ?

Apple just announced quite a lot of improvements, bug fixes and an annual subscription option for their own Podcasts app, which will be incorporated on Mac OS 12.4, tvOS 15.5 and IOS 15.5.

I dont know if that means they will be released today, but this week for sure.

So they are possibly injecting more people to the call drop issues? I see no update so I’m guessing I’d need to offload the beta profile or would my current build being the same not make any difference one way or the other. In which case sounds like call drops are not being addressed.

they have released the same build, so to continue with the coverage problems, or downgrade to iOS 15.4.1 these day ?‍♂️
I’m not very surprised that it’s the same build. It’s like they don’t care about the problems as long as you can launch apps and unlock the iPhone.

The bug only happens with specific carrier/countries, so perhaps that makes it a carrier data issue instead of an OS issue. I don't know, is very strange.

I don't know where the problem will come from in my case, but the operator version in ios 15.4.1 and 15.5 is the same for me, Orange 50.0. What changed is the version of the modem.
And the drop in coverage is noticeable between the two versions. It may be that with an operator update it will be solved, but in my case I have never received them separately, it has always been updated when iOS has been updated. That is why I think that if more users report it or suffer it at a general level, it would not be unreasonable to think of a 15.5.1 within not long.
