About time god damn it ?Thanks...first post updated...
I think they will release a possible 15.5.1, because I'm seeing a lot of people with reception and call quality problems in this version. I went on a trip today, and with the 13 pro at 15.5 it is a disaster in terms of quality and stability of the coverage. in 15.4.1 it worked like a charm. I am also seeing people with the 13 pro max with cuts and dropped calls, as was your case.Option 1
Nothing tomorrow, B2 next Tuesday?
Is my gut.
Option 2
Or are they in a speedier timeframe before iOS 16 pops is ugly head up ?? so we see B2 tomorrow ?
Pretty happy with 15.6 B1, dreading the modem change and dropped calls coming back ?
This is possible. Besides the reported T-Mobile activation issues, my wife & I have noticed more dropped calls this weekend, some texts not going thru or with a delay. One area I usually have excellent 5G coverage, now had a very poor signal and at one point actually showed "No Signal". We're on AT&T, too, not T-Mobile. I'll probably do a restore from the downloaded .IPSW file in Finder today or tomorrow anyway, but would be nice if there was a fix in place.I think they will release a possible 15.5.1, because I'm seeing a lot of people with reception and call quality problems in this version. Yup! This could all be resolved by a carrier update, not necessarily an iOS update.Same here. Its been wild since I installed 15.5. Dropped calls, delayed messages, poor calls coverage and so on. (Spain here, Movistar carrier)
But @gwhizkids, instead of an hypothetical 15.5.1 release, this could be still be fixed with a carrier update, right?.
and how to update only the operator part? I have never received an update of this section without receiving an update of iosYup! This could all be resolved by a carrier update, not necessarily an iOS update.
although I think that the operator has nothing to do with it, because in 15.4.1 it had version 50, and in 15.5 it is still the same. in 15.4.1 everything was working fine, and in 15.5 the problems appeared. the only thing that changed is the modem, that in fact here people use the beta with the 15.4.1 modem the problems were solved, so you will have to release a 15.5.1 version to downgrade the modem or update it well, and I hope it will we receive these days
