Not sure what your question is exactly, but if 15.1b1 hits next week (or no 15 beta hits) you have confirmation that this build is intended to be the final one that ends up as RC bare no critical game breakers.

B8 feels like it could be an RC… (?) Was asking if you felt the same.
So if that was the case I was then seeing what your thoughts were on how 15.1 B1 might unfold. 👍🏼
Just a reminder for folks who are getting a new phone. If you update current phone to 15.1 and you want to transfer everything to new phone, you will have to update it to 15.1 before you can load backup file. In past years there wasn’t always a .1 version for new phone on first few days.
I read something about Apple allowing you to transfer profiles and upgrade to beta software on new devices starting with 15.0?
I hope so but I can’t find anything about that anywhere.

Good find. If 15.1 comes out prior I’m going to try it out. I assume I’ll have to register the new phone first on my dev account. I’m going with the same as last year, final release after the event. 😁
Can't wait to ditch Authy and use the built-in TOTP generator.
One of my favorite features in 15. It's working fairly well but it doesn't auto fill on all websites so it's a little bit inconvenient sometimes. Still works surprisingly well overall though.

You mean so you can dramatically reduce your security for all of your accounts? It’s a GOOD thing to have your passwords and TOTP in different places. People shouldn’t even be storing their passwords in Keychain but people who are storing their 2FA tokens with Apple as well have now made it so that when Apple gets inevitably compromised (it’s never a matter of if a company will be compromised but when), a hacker will have access to all of their accounts’ passwords and 2FA tokens.
If someone breaches my Apple account they won’t find passwords or tokens, those are stored with Bitwarden and Authy, respectively, and they’re both using different email addresses and passwords too. A hacker would have to work much harder to get into my stuff.
That‘d be too late. They have to load the final version onto the iPhone 13 before leaving the factory in China.
My guess is we already have the final build with beta 8. RC and release will be build 19A340 - same as beta 8 but without the beta logging etc.
Happened before with iOS 14 and 13 where beta 8 had the same build as the RC and final.

Great theory, but what do you have to say about the new iphone shipments sitting in China? the new iPhone 13's? What iOS version are they carrying?
