Interesting that you and @James6s have such a different experience and are on the same type of device. Would be quite interesting to see whats draining the battery, what settings you have, network connectivity and so on.

What’s wild is that this is on WiFi all day (during work). My router is like 10 feet from where I sit.

And yeah, FB is the biggest hog, but it’s not like that’s changed over all the iPhones I’ve had over the years. Or this one, even.

For those on iPhone XS - 14PM, the public release is the same as RC1 (21B74).
It's a newer build for the iPhone 15 series only.

So in Apple Music, isn't there now supposed to be a playlist made of every song you marked as favorite? I it doesn't seem like Siri knows how to play your favorite songs yet. I just tried and it doesn't work.

Still unable to flash the ipsw onto my 15 pro max on windows. Even the new iTunes tells me I need to update iTunes first.

I use 3utools, granted I have a 14 pro but had no issues flashing 17.1rc with it

Did ya'll notice how FAST the updates were? My new 15PM updates a LOT faster than my 11PM did. I suspect they really upped the flash storage performance over the past few years.

iPadOS and iOS 17.1 bug: If you add one of Apple’s new playlist covers, then sort the playlist (by release date, for example), if you go to edit the playlist, it reverts back to the previous order that it was in.

Haha, yep! It’s significantly faster than both my 11 PM and 13 PM, even a reboot is ridiculously quick.

With iOS and iPadOS 17.1, when you favorite a song (star), you can no longer tell if it’s a “popular” song (dot). Wish I could see both.

The newest device on that year’s iOS is always really fast. Come back when upgrading the 15 to iOS 20 and see how fast it is.

Imagine us complaining about the setting that properly distances our mobile devices from following and filming us as it hovers at different distances as we enter rooms, buildings, and cars

Oh, and Siri will finally work intelligently! And the personalities can change, think Carrot Weather-style..

By then, even self-driving profiles for the Apple vehicles can be assigned different personalities.. Grandma. James Bond. Etc..
