My 15 Plus is running much smoother now. When closing an app to the homesreen is a night and day difference from 17.0.3. I cant comment on battery life yet. Its too soon to tell.

I noticed they brought back the zoom-in animation when opening an app from the lock screen instead of the app just appearing under the lock screen . No idea when that disappeared but it’s back.
yay my phone didn't restart overnight like it did on 17.0.3 and the last couple betas, i think its fixed.
I’m hoping for a “fix” with this RC. Under 17.0.3 the responsiveness, or lack of was very noticeable when running a S23U and 15PM side by side.
Giving the RC update a couple of days to settle and will compare again. So far there is a noticeable improvement.

I had the 15 Pro in natural Titanium with no problem, but changed it for a white Titanium. The problem has been there since the beginning, and I have tried three different pretty expensive screen protectors hoping it was just then. Turns out it's not, so I just ordered a new phone and will send this back,
i actually like this RC, no more random reboots, seems smoother, i got no complaints.
Not seeing any change between 17.0.3 and 17.1 when it comes to WiFI.
That does raise an ongoing question.
My WiFi supports 6 and 6e at 1GB down, 50MB up.
The speed on my 15PM is pretty much always < 500MB down and < 40MB up.
The speed on my S23U is pretty much always > 500MB down and close to 50MB up.
Why is the 15PM so much slower?

Update: turning dark mode off brings back the colour. Not sure if this is by design?
I have a WiFi 6 mesh AX11000 on 1gb symmetric fiber using 160mhz in the same room tested fine.

It looked ok after the 17.1 TC update last night and all day. And no Spotify update that caused the issue… really strange. It just came from nowhere

Have tried several setting changes, reboots, etc….
It is making little sense to me but it is consistent.
I also tried the same speed test you used. Generally I use Net Analyzer.

Tried that… and it’s a strange color, even with darkmode off. Toggle it doesnt help at all for me

Doesn’t bring it back altogether. I should have added. DM on = black background, DM off= colour background to match album.
Just ran a speed test on Wifi on my 15PM. 825mb down and 31 up (which is close to max for my internet connection). Standard 5ghz.
I have been waiting for literally years for Apple to add the "Suggested" music at the bottom of playlists like you have on Spotify. It's one of the only things I've missed since switching over, and the audio quality mattered more to me than the suggested box, but I found it a godsend for putting together quick playlists and then feathering in my own additions. I hope it works well.
