The syncing issue with iphone to Finder on a mac appears to be fixed. First time since I got my 15PM that I didn’t have to turn my Apple Watch off to successfully sync to my laptop.

Same here - although I was force quitting the MDNSCrashreporter, or whatever…
It's nice to just have them sync.

Seriously🤯? And it clears the logs from the phone?

How can I check?
Thanks. After you sync with the Mac, on the iPhone, check in, Settings->Privacy & Security->Analytics & Improvements->Analytics Data
Most, if not all the log files should be gone from the iPhone.

They also should be copied here on the Mac if you need to use them or send them: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice

No it does not appear to clear them. But at least a sync can now be completed without turning a watch off or killing some process first. I’m thinking at this point, the files remaining on the device was an intentional change.

I hope not. My old logs did finally disappear from the iPhone the other day. Took about 2 months.

Logs not cleared.

I've just rebooted my WiFi router. Usually, the phone will failover to 4G and then, once the router's rebooted, reconnect to WiFi.

It didn't do that. Half an hour later and it's still using 4G. I toggled WiFi off/on and it's now reconnected. I'll do another test later, but it's never done that before.

That seems to be the solution that works for me too. Just toggle WiFi on and off.

I was just about to update to b3 and figured I’d read the comments first. Waiting til next beta this time around.

I’m on 17.1.1 iP 15 Pro and no wifi issues here. I did have some wifi issues on 17.0.2 after transferring from a base 13 iPhone, so I reset my network settings and removed VPN profiles, rebooted and reinstalled VPN. A pain I know, but figured was worth a shot, it worked for me. I’m sure some of you tried it, but every case can be different.

If doing the above, make sure to know your wifi password as you’ll need it again.

I've done a wifi speed test today morning and it ended up as follows:

iPhone 12PM
Download: 92.1 Mbps
Upload: 94.8 Mbps

iPhone 15PM
Download: 81.3Mbps
Upload 93.6 Mbps

Phones were side by side in a room with best signal reception, the only noticeable difference was that the 15PM had the fine woven case. So I took it off and did the measurement again.

iPhone 15PM
Download: 92.8 Mbps
Upload: 93.6Mbps

Did couple more tests with both phones and the results were very similar. I can do it again in the evening when everybody will be off wifi but I do not expect noticeably different results.
Also it is important to mention that my router enables only 802.11ac so only wifi 5 standard.

--EDIT: I forgot to mention, running TP-LINK Deco E4 Mesh network with 2,4/5GHz alternating. Speed tests were done on a 5GHz only.

Throwing my WiFi experience in here— 15PM. Deco mesh network. Running in standard 5ghz/2.4ghz, no problems. Running in Wifi6e mode, no problems. Super fast download (900 Mbps) that’s maxing out my cable internet. No connection drops unless I wander out into the backyard (using 160mhz channels , which have poor range)

Is anyone having issues with location sharing.
If I go through iMessage and click on the name at the top the little map underneath says no location found
Go in Find My works fine

Interesting. So the new fake a** leather, crappy, way overpriced, Apple case was the only difference. Nice info to have :)

Anyone having problems printing? Tried to print something via WiFi / AirPrint today and was unable to do it from both my iPhone or iPad, both running the latest beta. Print selection screen would open but upon hitting start the dialog box would close and nothing happened.
