My girlfriend and I have been experiencing wifi issues at home on our iPhones (iPhone 12 and XS max) basically since the release of iOS 17 (and even during the summer betas, in my case). All other devices at home have been working fine (even iPads and my MacBook), so I assumed it was a problem with iOS. Using 17.2 on my phone didn't help.

Anyway, our modem/routeur was kinda old (released in 2017, not receiving update since a couple of years already, known to have a buggy reputation on the web, not WiFi 6, etc.) so I decided to take advantage of the current BF deals to upgrade our routeur for half the price. The old modem/routeur is now in bridge mode and the new routeur (Asus) handles the wifi. No more problems since. Hopefully this is solved for good.

I see that Apple Music Classical is now available for iPad. I hope CarPlay support is included in this update (which is also for iPhone) or coming relatively soon.

I still have 59% after 10 hours on my wrist, 35 minutes of exercise and a day of Christmas shopping. Only mentioning this so people don’t think your problem is universal.
Given that my phone's battery life has been down the drain for all of 17.x, my watch certainly not being helped by the betas, and my MBP having drained almost all of it's battery after installing the latest macOS beta (for the first time ever, I might add)...

I kinda think the battery life issue is very, very universal.

Not here on any device so far. I’m not crazy about 17 or watchOS 10 but WiFi and battery have not changed for me, both excellent, battery is maybe even better on 17.2 on my phone than 17.0.

My definition of universal is that everyone has the problem. Clearly they don’t. Too many people make statements such as “performance is down the toilet” without providing any evidence or explanation of their situation causing the casual reader to think everyone has the problem and the OS is garbage.

Got to be Titanium interference. They’re had a few goes at fixing it now. Right?

WiFi absolutely fine on 14 Pro
That's what I'm wondering. I mean, by now, if it was just software, you'd think a fix would've been found. It's just so odd that all files start to play fine...some even play though..but then, they freeze for 5 seconds or more. And seems more freeze than not. :( Of course, same with web sites loading.

Just making the entire phone experience miserable since it happens so frequently.

Apparently, this beta fixes the Apple Music play count issue. I'm so tempted to update to it, but I really shouldn't load up my phone with betas since it's my main phone. I really wish Apple would release a .x.x update to fix that issue so we don't have to wait until December.

I’m on the same page as you. You would have thought the WiFi would be sorted now. I wonder how thoroughly it got test as a frame.

WiFi has been consistently good throughout these betas - iPhone 11.
I think most of the issues started with iOS 17 but mainly on the new iPhone 15/Pro models. If they can't figure this out 2 months later, then it must be a hardware issue. This needs to be called out by some well-known Apple news websites.

I'm having the exact same thoughts. I also don't understand how they did not discover the WiFi issues during testing.

At this point, I'm starting to regret that I skipped the 14 Pro for the 15 Pro.

Something about the odd number devices. Weren’t there issues with the 13 models? 12 was solid and so was 14.

Haven’t had any real, longstanding issues with my base 15 and the 13 mini was probably the best iPhone I’ve ever owned (subjectively). Many 14 Pro users had (have?) frame-rate consistency issues in some 3D applications/games, so probably not the best example.

Also I had an iPhone 12 and it suffered from terrible battery life.
