2 bugs on 17.4 beta 1…

1. I have Siri messages set to read in Italian. (English is default) text message is announced in English but not Italian. (Thought it was read once in English and italian)

2. AirPods Pro 1st gen won’t connect to Apple Watch. Unpaired repaired still won’t connect. Other Bluetooth items pair properly and connect.

Anyone else notice these?

Everything is working properly for me, I don't have any connection problems, have you updated the firmware of the AirPods?

It's on the 6A307 for the first generation.

It's on the 6A307 for the first generation.
It’s on 6A321 as there was a firmware update last week. Rebooted watch just now, same issue. Won’t connect to watch. Connects to phone ok.

Turning on airplane mode on phone AirPods connect to watch.

Seems if AirPods connect to phone you can’t connect to Apple Watch. Under 17.3 I could do this. Definitely a bug.

Further turning off Bluetooth on phone AirPods still won’t connect. Seems airplane mode will allow me to connect AirPods to watch.

Normally connecting the iPhone and with them in charging or use they are usually updated, although they are a little heavy to update, at least that's what happens to me, they take time but they end up updating. cheer up.

Is anyone have issues with the Automations tab in the Shortcuts app?

The automations just keep kinda flashing and won’t let me delete them and won’t run.

I just got a notification popup saying that my iPhone remains findable after shutting off after reaching 10% of battery. Is this new popup?

Seems like there are going to major updates in this version of iOS for EU folk. It feels like the more changes, the more risk of introducing bugs. I think it’s the first one I’ll likely sit out for this reason. I must say though, 17.3 feels pretty solid from my end so no bad thing.

Bit confused on siri announcing text in different languages.

If the text is in another language (say Spanish) than the default (English) and you added Spanish in Siri messages it will read the text in Spanish?

Or will it read the text (which is English) and translate it to Spanish?

Those of you on iOS 17.4 DB1, are you seeing considerable improvements with network data transfer speeds?

I have an app that gets updates to its dataset once or more per week and those downloads are significantly faster compared to downloads prior to 17.4 DB1.
