I mentioned someone with AW Ultra and watchOS 10. How about battery life, it's similar to watchOS 9. I'm tempted to try it, but I'm afraid about Watch battery life. Thanks.
So far, so good for me (AW Ultra and watchOS 10). Small hit initially (as expected) but today it's normal.

I see from the front page that Notes now supports linking of notes. Still not up to apps like Obsidian, Notion and Craft, but its a start.

Yep…confirmed with another meeting invite this morning. When I tap on a meeting invite in my work exchange account in the stock mail app, there is no way to accept/decline the meeting invite

I see everything else…just no buttons at the bottom of the opened ics? file.

I have to go into thenOutlook app to accept.

Anyone else? I would show screen shots, but I’m too lazy to edit out 90% of the screen.

I am going to post two screen recording to show a thing I discovered (not sure if anyone else have seen this before me)

When you text a message, the animation of the vertical bar passing characters seems to be 30 fps or something like that.

But I found that in WhatsApp, if you capture a photo and going to add a text to the photo? The animation feels SUPER smooth , as 120fps. I do not know it it a bug or not, but definitely would like to have it overall system. It makes texting really satisfying.

First screen recording is in Notes, where you can see the normal animation. Second screen recording is in WhatsApp.

What do you think?

Thanks for the quick response. Bummer. I wish there was a way to disable the drop shadow in settings.

It is truly the worst "design" decision they have ever made. I am looking at my beach wallpaper on my old iPhone and it looks beautiful. Cannot use the same wallpaper on my iPhone due to those smudged labels

Has anyone been able to use the find my feature for locating the Siri Remote? Apple TV is updated to tvOS 17. Looked on Apple website no mention of it coming at a later time

I‘m so tempted to install this on my daily driver 14 Pro. I know I shouldn’t but every year I do it. Ugh. Hold on to at least the public beta I tell myself.

Web-apps bookmarks seem to be broken.

I use vesync weighing scale app and it has a Web-app link to directly view the logged Weight page. The old one from iOS 16 now opens up a black blank page. Creating a new one gives this error.

Anyone else noticing similar behavior with other web apps?

Respectfully, without getting the tired "you shouldn't install betas on your main device" answer, is Beta 1 stable enough to install on the iPhone? It's rather easy to get the beta.
If you rely heavily on an IMAP email account, there's a chance it won't work. Apart from that, no issues.

Assuming you know what you're doing (otherwise don't install dev betas) you can always restore, so it's risk free (but potentially time intensive) to try then roll back.

Standby doesn’t need MagSafe to work. Working great on my Belkin wireless charging stand.
I'm sure Apple said "Magsafe" to plug its own products. But I think the essentials are (A) the device is charging, (B) its horizontal and (C) its not moving or shaking. Works well on my Belkin charger too. Really liking it. Hopefully, they'll allow third party app integration.

I wish you could use it when the phone is laying flat. I have a flat charging pad i use at night but would like the standby mode feature.
