I made one, but stupidly put it in the iOS 16 forum. I've asked mods to move it to iOS 17.
IIRC the mention of MagSafe was about being able to customize different standby screens for different MagSafe chargers (e.g. the one you use at your bedside displays a different Standby screen than the one in your vehicle or at work).
I believe that MagSafe is required for that feature because true MagSafe chargers have an NFC chip with a unique address that gets communicated to your phone when they are connected.
Normal Qi/Magnetic chargers will work fine for Standby, but will not have the ability to switch to a different Standby screen per charger.
At least that's how I understood it from the keynote.

I'm having a bug where I have no way to pick up incoming phone calls. I know the call is coming in because the phone is vibrating and I see the small gray phone icon in the DI... But I cannot tap or hold down to open on the island.... I get nothing on home screen or lock screen to answer the call. I tried rebooting, I tried turning off live voicemail but nothing works.
Bit disappointed you can‘t customise lock screen and wallpaper separately but guess that will come down the line wasn’t iOS 16 like that in the first betas
You’ll get it back in late September.
my iPad Air 4 without FaceID shows the iPad Pro exclusive new feature to measure your distance to the screen. It can even be enabled but obviously no way to actually be working haha

Just got hit with a nasty bug: if you select a keyboard using globe button and that keyboard is not available for some reason, you lose access to the entire keyboard.
I selected the TextExpander beta keyboard while composing an email and lost my keyboard everywhere: Mail, Messages, Safari, etc…. Restarting and hard resetting did not fix that. I actually had to go into settings and delete the Text Expander keyboard (not just turn it off). Only then did my keyboard reappear.

iMessage to SMS not sending. Anyone else? A retry shows a response received showing above my message but also a failed message attempt. Multiple instances of this happening to me to different recipients. Reported

Is it time to turn on autocorrect again? I've had autocorrect off since my first iPhone.
i haven't tested this too extensively but so far twitter has been a little buggy, as has messages when opening a conversation that has images inside, battery life seems okay
There are no profiles anymore. Only settings software app.
This storage reporting discrepancy issue is reported in the release notes as a known issue.

Thanks. I guess it makes sense, since finding yourself in the wrong watchface was something that happened sometimes.
I've been having issues with Waze freezing on CarPlay with all versions of 16, but not on the phone itself.
I think this is probably a Waze issue for sure.
Has forced me to use either Google or Apple maps for navigation of late. Sucks as I love Waze for traffic avoidance.
I was the same way...until I saw the "Developer beta" choice on the software update screen, haha!!
My hesitation was from the iOS7 beta...that was a LONG two weeks until they straightened it out. My iPhone was almost unusable, running hot, and the battery life was horrible.
I have a 14PM and this update was like nothing. All my apps work. Battery life is fine. Same with ipadOS and watchOS 10 (so far, haha!!).
I am hoping that many more developers start to create iOS 16/17 homescreen compatible widgets now that they are dynamic. Only 45 out of 591 total installed apps have homescreen widget capability the rest are notification center widgets only or have no widget support at all.
I had this issue yesterday with my partner.. For some reason it was fixed late last night when I was home. I checked it today and it is acting like normal. I did nothing when it came to the settings on the phone or with my carrier.
