If I understand it correctly, Standby has three modes: widgets, photos and clock. You just swipe left/right to switch modes. Photos and clock work great for me, but when I select the widgets one it woks for about 15 seconds and then resets to a very blurry version where you can’t distinguish the right widget. And if the left widget is a clock, the handles are always pointing at 10:10.

Have a new one…I think…was walking off my plane, so I switched from noise cancellation to adaptive.

Put the phone in my back pocket as I have done 1,000 times and song started breaking up and skipping…like interference between the phone and my AirPods.

Doesn’t happen in either transparency or noise cancellation mode…weird.

EDIT: thinking this may be an AirPods Pro/iOS17 bug.
At first I read this as "I put my phone in my back pocket and started skipping." I thought well he's always cheerful going through the airport.

correct, then each option allows up/down swipes to define content. It's all buggy right now, sometimes it even refuses to switch to Standby...its Beta 1...these are normal issues.

It would be nice if you could set this up without having it on a charging stand in the dark. Just a teeny weenie bit awkward.

I have one contact that I regularly send iMessage audio messages to. I’ve noticed that, once an audio recording is sent to a contact, the dictation microphone changes to an audio messages symbol. This symbol only shows up in the iMessage thread for the contacts that I’ve sent audio recordings to.

I’m aware that I’m not alone. That’s why I wasn’t “reporting the issue”. I was asking if anyone found out a way to fix it (maybe read the first part of my post again for clarification that I was asking a question).
The only "fix" that's been discussed is resetting all settings. Nothing can be done as far as we know unless you're up to reconfigure everything.

It works whenever in landscape and charging.

And it’s awesome…this is one of those dumb features that makes my whole day.

Came home to my new charging stand so I can use it with my current case and I can’t wait to use it tonight. I may buy a few phone only stands just to charge like this in my office and the kitchen.

I’ve used it on my nightstand charger the last 2 nights. 100% agree. Great feature.

Is it worth a total reset for all ota users perhaps. Been toying with doing the ota on 14 pro max but not pulled the trigger yet.
installed it last night with 14 pro max thru IPSW file , no storage space issues, iOS 17 got way better 5G reception inside my work office than iOS 16.6 beta2 ( from 1 signal bar , sometimes SOS to 3 full bar signal.

Oooh I like this. I’ve been off since the release so we’ll see how it does tomorrow when I go back to the dungeon.

I have to disconnect from the Wi-Fi to download any sort of attachment in iMessage and I normally only have one bar of 5G that behaves more like 2.5G.

iOS Beta 17 feeling a bit “sluggish” laggy in my iPhone 14 pro max.
Animations seem to “hang” for a little second sometimes.
Battery life is good so far but performance also when typing here that text is not that super smooth like it was in 16.6 beta 1
