Now tap on the Moon and slide that calendar. The way the Moon changes and the haptic feedback under your finger.. sooo satisfying.
Ah. That explains why my selfies look less horrific now.
Glad apple seems to be taking the complaints seriously and toning it down with the post-processing.

More test results here. I need to try this on my iPhone 13 Pro Max which is running iOS 17 beta 2. I just hate how post-processing works in iOS 16. It honestly makes the photo look fake.
On my 13PM the selfies are better but the main 1x and 3x show no real improvement.

Comparing AirPods Pro2 vs Nothing Ear 2
The results were the same for the NE2 but a bit different for the APP2.
For playing music I prefer the NE2 - better overall sound.
For podcasts I prefer the APP2 - human voices, especially when you have multiples is slightly clearer.
NC - this was a surprise. I prefer the result from the NE2 unless the sound is really loud - the APP2 do a better job.
Biggest issue was the APP2 (not on beta) seem to vary in the extent of the NC coverage. This is annoying especially if the wife is watching tv and I want to tune out.

Happens in system apps (like mail and Safari) and also in Amazon’s app too (white boxes around stars and logos)

Been seeing a number of issues like that mainly across Safari. They do show up in other spots.

It seems that if you upload in m4a, you won’t run into the issues. Only happens randomly with mp3. Who would know that in 2023, iPhones would be struggling to play mp3s! (Yeah, beta I know, but still quite impressed they broke that)

Starting with Beta 1, every morning I wake up to find that Apple Music has downloaded the same one song overnight. I delete it every morning, and it always comes back the next day. I have zero music downloaded on my phone, but this song keeps popping back up every single day after I delete the download from my library.
Interestingly enough, it just so happens to be a song used in one of my Memories that the Photos app creates. I never watch those things, but I watched one of them shortly after installing Beta 1 and now the song from that particular Memory just keeps downloading and I can’t figure out how to stop it.

I see. I mostly download FLACs and convert them to Apple Lossless, but now that I think about it most of the issues I have are with files that were originally MP3s. I could probably convert them all to M4A very easily, but I’ll wait to see if Apple fixes it.
Yeah I download FLAC as well but convert to mp3 for my portable devices while keeping the original in my server. I did all the latest ones to m4a and all of them play now. Still won’t convert them all like you say, I’ll just wait for apple to fix

Some controls are not working correctly under this beta version.
Ex1: when watching videos, the left/right keys may not back/forward until you tap on the video manually triggering the controls.
Ex2: CMD-C and CMD-V may not always copy / paste in Safari. For Copy/Paste this also happens sometimes (less frequently) using screen controls.

It happens to me too. In some apps the graphics are messed up.

The iOS 17 Weather app is really amazing. I don’t envy third party weather app developers.
