Wow the battery on this beta 3 is BAD. 14 Pro.
I had worst experience ever with beta 1. all my iOS/iPadOS devices (iPhone 14Pro, 13mini, SE3G, iPad Pro M1 and iPad Mini 6) were draining to almost 0% overnight. A lot of "background" usage even though I turned off background app refresh, location services etc. Beta 2 fixed it across the board and all devices now drop maybe 5% overnight if not being charged. So far so good with beta 3.

The keyboard problem on iPhone still exists.
Specifically, the keyboard does not move the textField up automatically (as it did in iOS 16) on a real iPhone. The keyboard behavior is correct on iPhone simulator and real iPad.

Apple apps are not affected. 3rd party apps are affected (including Telegram)

@17fox yeah I expected the same. I swear my 14 PM worked the best on beta 1. It’s been downhill since

That’s not an unusual trajectory for these summer betas. They are not linear in terms of improving from beta to beta. Frequently betas 3 and 4 are the roughest. Once we start seeing them weekly (in about 4-5 weeks) things should start improving

Fixed

• keyboard popping up
• IMAP email
• PNG images loading properly

Still present

• iMessage scrolling stutters
(this may sort itself out in a day)

I’m on iPhone 14 Pro also.. also tried on my gf 14Pro and she has the same issue . Just try to go into a conversation on telegram and scroll up. The text field will disappear under the keyboard and you can’t take it back until you close the app from background.
I also have this issue on GroupMe… IP14PM

I only have experienced it with Apple apps, 3rd party apps totally fine for me

GroupMe is completely fine for me. Telegram has the sticky keyboard that doesn’t hide when swiping down, but instead you have to tap just anywhere above the keyboard and it will go away. This is only happening in Telegram. No other keyboard issues in apps for me.

Found a bug with using PIP while in another app. The PIP window will not go to the bottom of the screen, only middle or top. I’ve tried it with different streaming apps and they all do it. Anyone else seeing this?

Just tested this and my PIP window is able to go to the bottom!

It seems my battery charges itself on this build 😂 If you look at the bits where the charging is paused you can see the bit where the battery level rises again, which is expected as it's on the charger. But I took my phone off charge at 0445hrs and the last segment on the battery level appears to have risen slightly. Even though it's not on charge.

I also noticed this in the last beta and same again with this one. I'm wondering what it's doing to optimise the battery power. Last time I saw it on B2 I was on a cellular network so just assumed that was why. But I was at home on WiFi when I saw it this time.

I’m not sure if this is iOS 17 Beta related or if it’s just an Music thing — I began noticing this glitch around the time that the first iOS 17 Beta came out, so maybe someone can confirm:

When a brand new album comes out at midnight and I add it to my Library, the release date is missing from the info at the bottom of the page (where it usually has the number of songs, album runtime, and record label info)

This happens with every new album…if I add it to my library within, say, six hours of the release…the release date is missing. Then, the next day, I’ll delete the album from my Library and immediately add it back and the release date appears. It’s as if the system needs 12 hours to process that part or something.

Here is the new Local Natives album that just came out about an hour ago:

And here’s what it looks like when I add it to my Library:

Is SMS message received on an iPhone now getting forwarded to another iOS 17 iPhone (same iCloud ID)?
Unless I’ve misunderstood you post, this is an old feature from yonks ago.

There‘s a toggle switch in Settings>Messages to Forward to other devices.

Apologies if I’ve misunderstood.
