It is a boring subject though, hence why there’s a dedicated forum for it so this one doesn’t get bogged down in it.

It’s a beta. Battery will be all over the place. You can’t compare it to anything because the software isn’t finished. 🤷🏽
Again…. Chill

Genuine question, what is the issue with significant locations being enabled? Thanks
There doesn't have to be an "issue" - same as there really isn't one for having bluetooth enabled all the time, but when we're given the option to toggle certain features off, they should stay off.

Personally, I have no need for my phone to record significant locations so I have it disabled. No other reason.

Running smooth on my 14PM. The only noticeable bug I have (I'm sure there's others) is that my Apple ID picture in the top banner as you go into setting - the one with Your name, and underneath it says 'Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases, is just a grey circle with my initials instead of my Apple ID picture. Annoying but not the end of the world. I've tried rebooting, signing in and out, but still no joy!

Any ideas?
Mine is correct and has my default photo of me and my wife’s photo (family sharing)…

The optimized recharge stopped working since beta 3. I have everything activated, even significant locations. Any ideas?

So, after they fixed Clock widget 3 from being transparent to a white background (which is a shame as I liked the transparent background), it’s broken in a different way now…..

I'm having issues with the clock widget too. It's a bug! Reported to Apple.

Finally downgraded my 14 Pro to iOS 16. Missed the polish and the battery life. My beta 3 battery was abysmal. Will follow along with this thread to see how things evolve. Feels great to type this on a stable keyboard lol

I'm impressed how everything is running smoothly in this beta (iPhone 12).
The only bug I'm getting regularly, and since beta 1 actually, is the Wi-Fi and cellular symbol next to the battery symbol (top right of the screen) disappearing from time to time, but only on the home screen. It works just fine when in apps. It just works again after one or two hours, or if I reboot the phone.

Every year I jump on the betas then update to the new OS on release day. Every year I tell myself that I’m going to wait until the x.1 release to update next time due to all the bugs that don’t get ironed out until around a month after release but never manage to wait due to excitement.

I would really love it if I could hold back on updating to iOS 17 til about November…stability is really underrated because its quite a boring feature (until you don’t have it that is).

I can now confirm the two new Siri voices are new to this beta, as they do not appear in Beta 2 on my iPad, and appeared after updating it.

Surprised nobody’s mentioned it or talked about it anywhere! Anytime there’s a new Siri voice it usually gets a dedicated blog post.

For American English? I thought those five were always there?
