Working fine here with my work account.

It could be your company may have security policy set to block any version of iOS that's not a current valid version (so older than a certain version and not allowing pre-release versions).

I installed all the public betas before and Teams app worked flawlessly

Then you need to downgrade back to iOS 16. Many apps will not work with iOS 17 yet and in some cases the developers cannot update them until Xcode is updated. There is another thread in this forum listing apps that are not yet working.

Can anyone please direct me to right thread to downgrade OS

Apologies if this is buried in here, I didn't read every page. I am not getting a tone after my voicemail greeting. Either on the system default "leave a message after the tone" where there is nothing but silence after it and no tone. Same for custom greeting. No "tone" to prompt the caller to begin the message. Am I alone?

On a side note, is there anyway to get the Live Voicemail to transcribe on the lock screen? Seems I have to swipe up when locked to unlock and then tap on the island.

Live voicemail is borked. Think I’m getting the same thing. Sent a caller to voicemail and the entire message was hello, hello, you there….. I’m going to have to hang up, hello…….

Probably got no prompt.
I even went into my voicemail settings and changed/verified my settings/default.

Thanks for the confirmation. I’m getting the same type of messages. I changed my greeting, tried default etc and decided to call my phone from the landline. No traditional tone to prompt the caller. This is why they are saying “hello, hello….”

I am not able to set up my Microsoft teams account after iOS 7 upgrade, and and ask me to downgrade to iOS 16, as this version is not compliant with organization security policies. I don’t know what to do because I need teams have to be set up for my office use.

Then what we’re you thinking putting unfinished beta software on a device you depend on? Blows my mind you’d take such a risk. For what?

I hope you have a backup to restore to back onto iOS 16.5 then you should be sorted. 👍🏼

I have installed several beta versions in the past and Microsoft teams never been a problem before. I do not have back up of 16.5.

If you’ve done all this before, why oh why wouldn’t you have a back up to revert back to? It’s such a big risk on your fragile basis of its worked before.

If you don’t have a back made when on iOS 16, there’s no way back I'm afraid without losing your data.

You’ll have to restore the device with a Mac or Windows, and then set up as a new phone, which means then redownload your apps and all your settings.

Do you have any other devices working with Microsoft teams apart from your phone app?

You could also try using their web-based app (aka Teams on the Web) from anything with a decent browser:

This might be your best solution while Apple-Microsoft are figuring it out. Way less effort than going back to iOS 16, IMO.

Also, Teams might miraculously start working again once the new beta comes out, hopefully next week.

I checked and it’s not working on mobile. The web app is only supported by Desktop. Please note I already have teams installed on Company’s laptop and it’s working flawlessly there.

Teams working fine for me on both Mac and ipione 14PM developer betas.

I have a work laptop POS Dell that I have to use for our intranet that would always be my backup if needed, but I use it as little as possible.

Not to beat a horse that’s down but I sure hope you learned your lesson about not putting a beta of a major version without an encrypted backup no matter your past experience. You said you’re new to iPhone and again claim you’ve put betas many times before w/o a problem so not sure what to make of that.

Each major iOS adds new code and deprecates old APIs or other modules that could mess up an app’s functionality and updated apps aren’t allowed till after the public release of iOS. So don’t rely on your experience in the past and make a backup.

As I was coming from android background, I used to play with my earlier, android phones by rooting them and updating custom roms. I was very curious to read responses about several beta versions of iOS here, and that motivated me to install beta versions. I never faced single problem with all the earlier betas and that’s where I have become over confident.

Always take ppls beta experiences with a big bag of salt. No one uses the same devices/apps and hence diff bugs entirely. Like some still having wallpaper bug, keyboard bug in messages app but I don’t have either of those. Overall it’s a solid build and every app I use works flawlessly but that might still change in upcoming betas.

So check the apps thread, then (encrypted) backup if you do decide to update regardless of x.0 or x.7.

I know you said you checked settings, but there is a "Require after 15 minutes" option and it really sounds like you have this enabled.

The only other option is "Always require password". I've had it set the same way for a long time. Only in iOS 17 did it start requiring I enter password.

Anyone else struggling with Maps locating you?
Just can’t seem to locate me, on iOS or when I’m using CarPlay too..

Thought it’d get better in beta 2, or even b3. For me, seems that b1 was the most stable. Especially with the Public Beta being out now.

The Maps bug is super frustrating! - But hey ho.. these are the risks we take!

Installed PB1 on my iPhone 12 mini earlier today and the only hiccup so far was losing all the wallpapers I had made in iOS 16. Not a big deal, though, as I kept all the important pictures, so they were easy to get back.

Other than that so far, so good. The iPhone stays quite cool and the battery does not seem to drain too quickly. ✌️

Now installing it onto iPad Air 5 as well for a more immersive experience. 😉

Got it on my iPad 11 Pro, possibly going to install on my iPhone 12 Pro when beta 4 is out!

Looking forward to beta 4 because:

• iPhone gets hot when using maps and coming off at a service station to grab a snack. Normally I wouldn’t quit the journey, just mute it, grab a coffee and then carry on.

• Can’t pin point it but editing a wallpaper or moving about in settings in privacy and location settings, phone heats up.

• On occasions a hard restart has deleted apps, same three every time. Hard restart doesn’t fix. You tube, Apple Store and EBay - this one is bonkers strange.

Reinstalled the beta twice. Never had this many bugs. Only difference is this time round on iOS 17 I’ve gone OTA exclusively. 🤷🏽
