Battery life is certainly getting better

My Settings will randomly crash upon open sometimes

Notifications when wearing my Apple Watch are still rather wonky

But otherwise, this beta is feeling a lot more solid. There is no glaring omg kinda issue that makes me annoyed.

Slightly OT, but is anyone on the AirPods Pro beta noticing anything different with the second beta? Mine just finally updated.

I can’t be the only one unable to download and install updates while on Wi-Fi?

When I’m on Wi-Fi it says I need to be on Wi-Fi, only way to download and install is to be on cellular.

Reboot has never fixed that issue, anyone else?
For my mom. Only when she turned off WiFi could she download it. Super weird.

Hello everyone. On the Russian-language portal, where we are also discussing iOS 17, one user noted that with the installation of the new beta version, he started having problems with the camera in zoom x3 mode. Has anyone had a similar experience? Or is it a marriage in the phone itself?

Should the Do Not Disturb icon on the lock screen be black? Looks weird - 99.9% sure it was always white to match the text

No problems with x3 zoom here, could be an issue with the phone/camera.

It does look weird, it's almost invisible with the wallpaper I have. I can't remember if it was always that way though 😂

hard restarts, a couple of them, has that not fixed the settings crash?

did you OTA this update on? if so, reinstall the iOS with the IPSW file you can get from a free developer account over on Apple.

here's how to reinstall the iOS with a IPSW file...

Still having issues where you can’t see text field when sharing something via messages

Minor, but OS won't hold my selected lock screen. Keeps randomly reverting to the first one in the list. I have focus modes set for all my lock screens and they automatically switch depending on time of day, but Light Mode" keeps reverting from the one selected.

The OS always remembers the last one selected and goes back when changing focus modes, but this is happening without focus modes changes.

Battery drain overnight is pretty significant. 73% down to around 48% over 8 hours on 14 Pro Max.
This should be expected after installing a beta as there's going to be extensive indexing going on for a while. Maybe 24+ hours. Battery is not optimized at all right now during betas. There's no reason to even try troubleshooting a Battery issue while on a beta.

I have stutters/skipped frames when scrolling in Signal app and especially in the official Microsoft Flight Simulator Forum using Safari with this beta. Otherwise it is smooth. IP13 non Pro.

Adding onto this, the overnight drain on my 13 ProMax is back. :(
Dropped 18% last night with the big two being Find My and Siri but neither show any use even though listed as the top two users. Odd. 🧐

Honestly the settings crash has not bothered me enough, it was more a call out to the quirky issues i have.
But thank you.

Since beta 3 the Optimized Battery Charging doesn’t work. Anyone else?
