It was just a comment about battery’s after reading the last couple of pages 👍🏼
I'm on iOS 16 and instead of upgrading from the phone, doing an ISPW restore to have the best experience possible. It is still just a restore from finders and is all your data retained? Thanks!

In my 14 PM some key combinations in the keyboard randomly crashes apps, no matter what app and it’s not a specific combination of letters. But happened for me or I noticed a day ago writing on notes app, but it happens now in WhatsApp or other apps.
This is the worst f’ing beta from Apple this year. Nothing works like music showing the sliders, messages crashing, App Store, battery, and on and on. It’s like we went back to an alpha build. Cannot wait till the next beta. Seriously Apple. WTF with this most recent beta. Yes I’ve reported it to their lazy teams. Just wow how bad this one has been.

Have you tried an IPSW install? Not many on here saying the same. Most having a great experience, myself included.
Fair enough that you’re one of the minority with major issues, and it’s fine to complain about the issues, but leave out the personal attacks on the staff, as it’s just not nice.
Just to highlight: it’s a beta, things might break, that’s the entire point. If you want a smooth(er) ride, don’t run betas
Wowsa. I haven’t seen any of that through the last four betas. What have you done as far as troubleshooting goes? Which phone are you using?
Beta 4 has been so smooth on my 14 PM! Getting excellent battery life and everything has been so fluid for me aside from the minor occasional glitches and bugs. These iOS 17 betas are definitely trending in the right direction for me
I use an app called DealerRater, which allows me to hunt for a photo to send out.. I've always hunted by date here successfully. This function is broken in beta 4 for me, yet works fine in the Photos app. So I'm thinking this bug has to do with the API a third-party app uses to make use of one's photo library

I'm not able to do an IPSW restore as it says

and then results in this error
"Can't install the software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server."

The link you attached in an earlier message wasn’t for a restore.
It was for a “re-install”. Very very different things.
I have been on all 4 beta builds of iOS 17 on my 13 Pro Max. Have not experienced any of the issues mentioned.
Have you tried performing a OS restore through iTunes? Downloading the beta 4 IPSW file and manually fresh install Beta 4.

I bet you have keyboard sounds on full volume, too.
