Wow! Amazing photo of Palm Jumeirah 😍View attachment 2238755World clock widget is broken in the Lock Screen. Does not get updated as the time changes.
11:18 AEST is 6:48 IST.
tried restarting, removing widget and adding it back, changing cities…
World time gets updated when you restart, then stays there, may be would be helpful to know when the phone was restarted 😂

This was added in iOS 16.
Not sure if this is new in beta 4 or not but those rain droplets sliding down on weather cards are so nice! Good old iOS 4-5 vibes

Animations have been super choppy on mine on beta 4, especially when opening and closing an app. Since nobody else seems to be having this issue, I’ll try to reinstall with the IPSW. Otherwise, the iOS 17 betas have for sure been going in the right direction. The battery life is better than what I was getting on iOS 16 and seems to be getting better with each new one. Just waiting for the update that fixes the storage bug as every year.
Oops, my apologies, I hadn't noticed similar replies. IPSW reinstall made the problems I was facing go away. Phone is no longer running hot constantly so the battery got even better. And I'm not seeing any dropped frames when jumping between apps. Apps don't have to reload as often, too (the most annoying problem I had by far) - yesterday I was reading a book and listening to some music from Apple Music so I jumped to the Apple Music app to change the song for 5 seconds and when I came back to Books, it had to reload and I had to open the book I was reading all over again.. I was like, come on, seriously it couldn't hold that in the RAM?? But glad to say it's all sorted itself out.I wouldn’t say “nobody else” is having the issue. Several people did report that shortly after installing beta 4. But your approach makes sense. Make sure to report it, if you haven’t already.

Yup, just an update through IPSW from Beta 4 to the same Beta 4, worked perfectly. Takes no more than 10 minutes to install it and none of the data is affected - I think this is going to be the main way to install updates for me from now onLove that you’ve taken the initiative and effort to reinstall the iOS.
Works wonders. Unfortunately a lot of people just think it’s a rubbish beta and wait for the next one to fix it. Which is doesn’t. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. 👍

Definitely giving it a go later because while everything is working as it should and battery life is fine, the homescreen UI stuttering/dropping frames is extremely annoying in this beta, hopefully a quick reinstall over the top fixes it.Yup, just an update through IPSW from Beta 4 to the same Beta 4, worked perfectly. Could be. Are you sure you're downloading the correct IPSW, as those differ by device? Also, make sure you're option-clicking on update rather than restore. But that's the only thing I can think of. Regardless, if you made a backup it never hurts to try again, apart from just losing some time.Am I doing something wrong because I had both of my ISPW reinstalls on betas 3 and 4 go wrong and had to wipe phone then restore from iCloud backup? I start the ISPW reinstall, and then it goes wrong and iPhone shows connect to computer screen.
Thank you. Yep, correct device and option-click on update. Not sure why it keeps going wrong. It’s been enough of a headache and the beta has luckily been fine for me now that I hope to not have to mess with it again, but just couldn’t figure out what was going wrong.Could be.
