Find My Remote showed up for me today, but Houston we have a problem. Lol

Thinking it’s not fully baked yet

What’re you talking about not half baked? It found it right next to it. Duh 🙄🤣

Just installed the beta on my iPhone 12 PM for the first time and I immediately noticed a bug. My status bar icons besides the batter icon (wifi, phone signal, etc.) disappear on the right corner on the Home Screen.

ok, thanks!

I was just kind of worried that a beta this late still has such an obvious UI glitch

Possibly not a glitch but a reflection of something being done with the Dynamic Island for the new phones. They aren’t going to tell anyone that’s what they’re doing.

i just updated my phone to the latest public beta and whenever I boot up it says verification failed and then freezes on the "Updating iCloud settings" black screen. anyone know how to fix this?

According to Aaron Zollo, Beta 6 seems to work smoother and snappier than previous betas. And it does make sense, as we’re less than a month from the final release.
On my devices it really feels as good as a final release. There’s probably a million edge case bugs but I’ve yet to bump into them thankfully.

At it’s core now, iOS 17 seems to be running very well.

For a couple days, db6 was working great on my 14 Pro, then it stopped syncing music with my MBA (Sonoma, db5) along with endless calculating storage capacity. Nearly the same time, the phone's widgets went blank. Restarts didn't help, I had to go back to 16.6.

As of PB2, the "catch-up arrow" has disappeared from messages (was working fine initially). I've searched up and down the MR forums (& others) but I can't find anyone experiencing anything similar. Has anyone experienced this/figured out a fix?

Edit: I've got an iPhone 14 PM running PB4. FYI, have tried multiple hard resets, turning off/on iMessage, etc.

Been on PB4 since it came out (almost a week) and find it more stable than iOS 16.6 (updated OTA from iOS 16.6) using an iPhone 13. Can’t say I’ve found any bugs or lag on my end. Linked also an Apple Watch SE on Watch OS 10 beta (latest).

Battery life has been similar to iOS 16.6 for me. Hope the next beta is as good.

Try reinstalling the iOS.

Theres a guide pinned to the top of the first page.

The Siri Remote might need a firmware update? It hasn’t changed so far in any of the tvOS betas however it might be updated by the time it hits public next month.

Or it’s just still a bit buggy 😂

Yeah, was thinking the same about the firmware. Strangely the feature disappeared the same day and I haven’t seen it since. Was nice to get a preview though

My wireless CarPlay has been crap up till this beta (I use an aftermarket wifi controller). Seems good now. No drops or issues over the last couple days.
As a follow up, wireless CarPlay is having problems re-connecting after the first connection. Only resolution is to fully reload the phone. Don't believe it's an issue with the wireless controller since reloading that doesn't resolve.

Since the last beta of iOS I have an issue with my AirPods Pro 2 (no beta software). In the "find me" - app there is no location for my AirPods and I got the message that the configuration is maybe not finalized. But everything works, even the location in the map. I delete the AirPods and connected them again and the issue is still there. The most annoying thing is that everybody near me gets an information on its iPhone that there are AirPods and everybody can follow them.
