But did the set up process come with iOS 16? I don’t think so.
Yes, it did. I set it up in 2022. Here are several results from a very quick “iOS 16 personalized spatial audio” google search.

iPad Pro 11 and 13 ProMax and 2017 MBP

I use three password managers: Apple Keychain and Bitwarden (BW). I am in the process of retiring Keychain. Looking at Proton Pass as my future manager and have started that migration process.

Interestingly when looking at the Settings > Password I am getting a message that XXX Security risks have been found.
Basically it is telling me pretty much most of my passwords have appeared in a data leak including some that Apple has auto created for me. BW is giving me a far far smaller list (about 1/4 the size) and it has more entries. At this point I trust BW more than Apple. Proton Pass is pretty much in alignment with BW.

Not sure what is going on with Apple.

im having a annoying issue, sometimes when someone calls me it goes straight to voicemail even though my phone is turned on with service and i dont even know until i get a notification that i have a voicemail

Find My Remote showed up for me today, but Houston we have a problem. Lol

Thinking it’s not fully baked yet

Yet another night where my phone forgets where home is.

I literally drove to a different borough this morning. I watched the map screen update my route home as I drove about, so Maps knows that I was out.

But when I get home, “Camera has detected a person that may be .”

This is absurd and frustrating.

This happened to me starting in ios 16. Turns out that Significant Locations is messed up. Always had my "home" location as around 300ft from my actual place. Nothing I could do would change it, so I turned off Significant Locations, deleted the history, and my cameras have worked fine ever since. It seems like Homekit doesn't allow you to manually set where your home is and relies on the very broken Significant Locations "feature" to determine it...

🔋 This is some excellent news about the battery life. Hopefully, it gets even better. 🤩

I ended up going back to 16.6 due to the awful battery life of the previous betas. Decided to jump back on with beta 6 and I’m honestly not disappointed at all, battery life is fairly decent and I haven’t encountered any issues so far.

Yesterday I had 6 hours usage and ended with 40% left on my 14 pro

Yes, it does

No it doesn’t.

The letter appended to the end of a build number indicates how many times a software build needed to be compiled before it met the quality control threshold for release. Earlier builds tend to take more compiles to get here. But, at the end of the day, they all meet the minimum quality control threshold for release. Or they aren’t released.

So using the letter appended to the end of the build is irrelevant, especially since we don’t know what the standards are to meet the quality control requirements. It’s entirely possible, I think, that a beta 1 could, somehow, be a “d” build and a subsequent beta be an “f” or “g” build. And yet the latter build is closer to the ultimate release software.

Now if you said you always wait for beta 6 to install the new iOS, that would make sense because typically by that time things are stable. But you cannot infer the same thing from the build “letter”.

Today I don't want anything

I have similar feelings about the last beta on 14 pro. In my opinion, the battery lasts the same as for 16.6. If officially iOS 17 or any subsequent version such as 17.1, 17.2 makes the battery hold even better, I do not need anything else.

iOS 17 beta 1, I think was a ”V” build and was very stable for me it had a few things here and there but wasn’t anything that made me revert back to 16.. I agree with your statement I think we put too much weight behind the. ”letter build” if Apple dropped the letter when they released betas we would still download it. LOL.

many of my reminders are simply gone on beta 6 on iPadOS. I had a reminder for laundry, then I did a short powernap. After that nap the reminder for laundry was marked as done

Hey, I know that's from Brandon Butch (thank you for giving him credit), but you have an iPhone with Dynamic Island as well. Could you tell me what's that icon on the Dynamic Island on that screenshot? It is not the first time I see it... Is it location services?
Are you referring to the blue icon? It's the icon for navigation. After you put directions into Apple Maps it gets activated. It's pretty cool and interacts well with Dynamic Island. Also, it stays on until navigation comes to a stop.
